Died peacefully on Saturday, September 17th, 2005 in her 88th year with her beloved husband Alex, of 64 years, at her side. Cherished mother of Linda VIR (Chan,) and Lorne (Anne.) Proud grandmother of Samantha, Daniel, Joshua and predeceased by Shaun. Predeceased by her siblings Margaret BREESE, Harry, Bill and Bob. Olive will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Dave WHITE/WHYTE, her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and Friends. Funeral service Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Church of the Ascension (33 Overland Dr.). Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Mary Ellen of Valleyview Home, Saint Thomas, on Friday, July 15, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 67th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Garry FERGUSON (2002.) Dearly loved mother of Ken BAKER of Brantford, Barry and his wife Erin FERGUSON of Oakville, Ann and her husband Allan AKINS of London, and loved daughter-in-law of Dawn BAKER of Brantford. Predeceased by 2 sons Dwight and Daniel. Loved grandmother of Tammy, Lloyd, Dalton, Ryan, Sean, Brent, Lisa, Christie, Matt and Rob. Dear sister of Audrey DENNY, Marion and her husband Syd GILCHRIST, Margaret and her husband Larry ABEL, all of Saint Thomas, Donna VIRAG of Fingal and Jean and her husband Bill IRWIN of St. Williams. Predeceased by sister Verna DONALDSON and Patricia McMENEMY. Sadly missed by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Ellen was born October 1, 1937 in Saint Thomas the daughter of the late Wilfrid and Dorothy (HARRIS) FIFE. She worked for Northern Telecom and the Arbour Glenn Day Nursery. Resting at the Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Peacefully on November 14, 2005 at Sunnybrook Hospital at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Joan. Loving companion and caregiver of Janice DONALDSON. Cherished by his children Wendy and her husband Phil VIRDO, Herbert and his wife Michele. Forever missed by his grandchildren Michael, Jessica, Christopher, Guy, Trudy, and Janelle. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Bernardo Funeral Home, 2960 Dufferin Street (two streets south of Lawrence Ave.) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Bernardo Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. Private Cremation. VIRGILIO, Pierina Iolanda (née DI GIULIO)
(August 4, 1915-April 9, 2005)
A loving mother with a generous and kind spirit who wanted her kids near, and, when she could, worked tirelessly to bring them together. She died peacefully, in the joy of Christ, and in the arms of her children. She will always have a special place in our hearts. She is the cherished mother of Frank (Dina), Mary (Aldo), Sandy (Carlo), Vince (Angie), Gina (Mario), Sam, Serafino (Mary), Anna (Lidio). Also, the beloved wife of the late Dino VIRGILIO (1983) and a dear "nonnetta" to eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Our deepest gratitude to the staff on the fifth floor at York Central Hospital -- Long Term Care, for the patient and loving care of our mother. She loved you! Our mom is resting at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, two blocks south of Steeles). Visitation is on Monday, April 11th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass will be held at St. Pascal's Baylon Church (92 Steeles Avenue West) at 10: 30am. The entombment is following the mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to York Central Hospital.

Lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Jade SEWELL of North Bay and by her great-grand_son Cody. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Cecile ROTHWELL, and by her siblings Ted ROTHWELL and Eleanor HOWARD. She was the dear aunt of Gayle CARR, Judy VIRGIN and David HOWARD. Dear father of Grant MOYER and his wife Maureen of R.R.#3, Embro, Ralph MOYER and his wife Marion of Innerkip and Hazel HARWOOD and her husband Gary of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Fern VIRLEY of Kitchener. Predeceased by his sister Velma VIRLEY and by his brother Eugene MOYER. Ivan farmed on the family farm outside of Innerkip for many years then drove city bus in Woodstock until his retirement in the late 1980's. Friends may call at the R.D.
