Jean (née STOYLE) VOGAN passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 7th 2005 at the age of 75, leaving her memories to be cherished by her loving husband Don, son Greg and wife Alisha, her daughter Christine and husband Ian, her grandchildren Amanda, Jeff, Carolyn, Craig, and great-grand_son Cameron. Jean is also survived by her five STOYLE siblings. Visitation for Friends and family will take place at the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street, on Sunday from 2-4 pm, where the funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 11th 2005 at 11 am. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.

VOGEL, Cedric Anton
Cedric Anton, born October 16, 1914 in Vancouver, son of Hans Broder VOGEL and Annie (HUNTER) VOGEL, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2005. Loved and missed by his wife, Dorothy (MacLELLAN,) children Peter and Jan VOGEL, Chris VOGEL and Richard NORTH, and by his grandchildren, Christopher and Jamie VOGEL and Jason VAN DE VELDE. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ced received a B.A. and B.Ed. from the University of Saskatchewan and taught in a one room schoolhouse in Saskatchewan until enlisting in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He served as a navigator with bomber command, being shot down and held in the Stalag Luft III prison camp until the end of the war. In 1946 he began his career with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Regina, then administering Deer Lodge Hospital in Winnipeg and Westminster Hospital in London. Special thanks to home care workers Elizabeth DIVER, Irene AMARAL, Lisa MALLOY, and Doris DIVER for their loving care. Ced will be interred in the family plot in Arcola, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and to the London Health Sciences Foundation. WONCH, Robert Orran
On January 6th, 2005, Bob passed on quickly and peacefully at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in his 92nd year. His spirit soared up to meet that of his beloved wife Elizabeth (Bessie) who predeceased him. He was dearly loved and will be missed by his children Wayne Robert, Elizabeth (Bob VOGEL,) Michelle (Ian McCUTCHEON,) his grandchildren Mark WRIGHTMAN (Alicia DIBBEN) and Kathleen WONCH; and his great-grand_son Bryce WRIGHTMAN. Bob always had a great sense of humour and was still laughing and joking till the end! His lively antics will be missed by all. Memorial Service will be held at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2005. Will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law Barbara and her husband Jack ZIMMERMAN and their family. Friends and relatives will be welcomed at the R.S. Passed away peacefully at Leisureworld Retirement Residence, Brampton, on Sunday, November 13, 2005, Emil VOGEL at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ann (née PANTELE.) He is the cherished father and father-in-law to Brigitte and her husband Horst PETERSEN, Bruno and his wife Kelly VOGEL, Christine and her husband Darrin CAIN. Loving Opa to Michael PETERSEN, Kristi (née PETERSEN) and her husband Daniel HUNTER, Richard and Matthew VOGEL, Olivia and Mitchell CAIN. Adored great-opa to Summer and Ashley HUNTER. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Josef VOGEL and his wife Maria and their family, his sister-in-law Elfriede VOGEL and her family, all from Germany and also by his in-laws, Tony and Ilse PANTELE and their family, Erich and Rosi PANTELE and their family, Ludwig and Monica PANTELE and their family, Regina PANTELE and her family, all from Germany. Emil is predeceased by his brother Otto VOGEL, his sister Margaret NOWOTNY and his brother-in-law Rudolf PANTELE. Emil was born in Czechoslovakia and then later lived in Germany. He immigrated to Canada in 1957. He was a hard working man who had a passion for business and his company, Strato Steel. He loved travelling, fishing and being at the cottage. He was devoted to his family and was always there to help the people around him. He also greatly enjoyed being with his Friends, who we know will sadly miss him. Emil's family will receive family and Friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o'clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, November 17 at 11 o'clock. Followed by cremation. GRAHAM, Donald Nixon "D.N."
It is with great sadness that his family announces Don GRAHAM, in his 87th year, peacefully entered into his eternal rest on Thursday January 6th, 2005 at the Brantford General Hospital. Don was the beloved husband of Ruth (née FACEY) for 57 years and loving father of Linda McGUFFIN (David,) Windsor, Barbara WOOD (Philip), Dundas, Jean FARHOOD (Wayne), Waterloo, Eleanor GRAHAM (Henry VOGELSANG), London, Peter (Veryan), England, Stanley (Tracy), Delhi, and John (Luraine), Ottawa. He was always interested in the lives of his 16 grandchildren, Scott (Tracy), Aimee and Sarah McGUFFIN, Eric (Melissa) and Andrew WOOD, David (Cheryl) and Stephen FARHOOD, Jonathan, Tatiana, David and Imogen GRAHAM, Nicole, Lesley and Duncan GRAHAM, Ian and Katherine GRAHAM. He had one great-grandchild Ethan FARHOOD. Don has two surviving sisters, Dorothy ABRAHAM (Bill) of Petrolia and Isobel HUGHES of Ilderton. He was predeceased by his parents Peter L. and Grace, his brothers George and Stanley and sisters Gladys WELCH and Marjorie PETRIE. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and Friends.
Don was the Agricultural Representative in Brant County from 1950 - 1983 and since retirement remained very active in the community, in the Rotary Club, the Probus Club and as a faithful member of Heritage United Church (formerly Colborne Street, Brantford United Church). Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Saturday January 8th, and Sunday January 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Beckett-Glaves on Monday January 10th at 1: 00 p.m. Reverend Randall MacKENZIE Officiating. Mother of Dennis and his wife Sue of Tecumseh, Glenn and his wife Verneita of Markdale, Yvonne and her husband Tony HUYS of Port Elgin, and Donald and his wife Jean of Nipissing. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grand_son. Predeceased by one sister and three brothers. VOGT, Paul Jean, B.A.Sc., M.B.A. (1944-2005)
After living well with Leukemia for many years and an incredibly courageous battle with this disease, Paul succumbed on Monday, May 30, 2005 with his loving wife Cheryl at his side. His three sisters, Margaret ANGRAVE, Jeannie REED and her husband Bill, and Linda STEPHENS and her husband Ron are overwhelmed with sadness at his death. He was a favourite uncle to his nieces and nephews and their children. Cheryl's parents, Dorothy and Harry GALBRAITH, her brother Ron and his wife Jane and her sister Lori and her husband Peter are also left to mourn. Paul had many dear and long-standing Friends whose hearts will be heavy at this time. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Eloise BUCKLEY, and aunt Minnie SILVERA. Sadly missed by BUCKLEY and SILVERA cousins, mother-in-law Ruth Lyn KEW, extended family members and by many loving, caring Friends and associates. As past Commodore of P.A.R.U. for over 20 years and with a lifetime career in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry, his memory will be cherished by many Friends including those at Skymark International and the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
