HAPPY, Edward
Passed away at the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, after a valiant battle with cancer, on Friday, June 17, 2005 in his 73rd year. Beloved son of the late Peter and Sophie HAPPY. Survived by his sister Lillian and her husband Loui VUKANOVICH of Burlington. Loving and proud uncle of Peter and his wife Yvette, Susan, and John and his wife Laura. Our sincerest appreciation to Dr. PASTERNAK of Grace Hospital for his outstanding compassion and to the angels of Community Care Access Centre, notably Hannah and Anne Maria who looked after his needs so caringly. JOHNSTON, James " Ted" (1933-2005)
Passed away, at Kitchener-Waterloo Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Mary for 49 years. Dear father of Ted, Kathrine, Patty and Mary Ann and their spouses, Tim YOUNG, George ELLERY, Milutin VUKOVIC and Pat CEH. Lovingly remembered as papa by Nathan and Ryan and as grandpa by Tianna and Marco. Cherished brother of Beverly ARMITAGE and her husband Bob. Survived by his sisters-in-law, Betty ERSKINE and Sharon PINKNEY and her husband David as well as his brother-in-law Peter CROSS. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Irene JOHNSTON and his brother Willard. Ted was an honorary member for 32 years of I.U.E.C. (Local 90) Schindler Elevator. A memorial service to celebrate Ted's life will be held in the chapel of the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 2: 30 p.m. The family will receive Friends one half hour prior to the service from 2-2: 30 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Independent Living Centre in Kitchener.
