COLLINS of Cleveland, Ohio and Melbourne,
Florida, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased
by brothers Howard, Earl and Glen.
Born on a farm at Bervie, Bruce County, Olive attended the University
of Western Ontario on a scholarship, graduating in Arts 1931.
She taught all high school subjects in Port Elgin until her marriage
in 1937 and raised two small children during the Second World
War while Fraser served in England and Australia. She raised
two children born post-war in Winnipeg and
in Ottawa, where Fraser
served at National Defence headquarters. Olive and Fraser returned
to London in 1960 when Fraser joined the University of Western
Ontario School of Business after his retirement from the Canadian
Army. In London, Olive was finally able to indulge her lifelong
interest in art and became an accomplished landscape, floral
and portrait painter. On her 1972 return to another rural setting
in Bruce County, she devoted her time to the Southampton Art
Society and founded the Shoreline Artists Group in Port Elgin.
A private graveside service was held at Greenwood Cemetery in
Owen Sound on December 6. A memorial service to honour and celebrate
the life of Olive

Robert, a twin sister Jane and a sister Elizabeth. Born in Ballymena,
Northern Ireland, Sam has been in Canada for more than 50 years
and was a proud member of Moore Masonic Lodge No.294. He retired
as a Pipefitter with Shell Oil Ltd. Funeral services will be
held from the Chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home, Sarnia on
Thursday, October 13th at 1: 00 p.m. Cremation will follow. Friends
may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday between
the hours of 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers,

Educated at Victoria College (UofT,) Western
Reserve, and as a Kellogg Fellow at the University of Alberta,
she was the art consultant at the Forest Hill Board of Education.
She and her husband John raised two sons, Peter and Michael.
She crested happiness for many, many people with art that she
crested thousands of "hasty notes", and thousands of visual expressions
throughout the lives of her Friends and family. Canadian art
and world travel gave her joy and the return home to share stories
with her family. At age 80, she was content to go, but she leaves
behind her best friend and husband John, her sons, daughter-in-law
Bev, grandchildren Gavin and Claire, brother Bob and wife Shirley,
brother Conn and Doreen; also Nancy, John, Terry, Lori, Brian,
Mary Ann, Stan, Vicki, and Lorne. Visitation on Friday March

and Kathleen. Jim was born April, 1925 in Saint John's, Newfoundland,
and then spent most of his life in Toronto. Jim volunteered for
active duty in World War 2, serving first in the R.C.A.S.C. (Britain)
and then as a D.E.M.S. Gunner, R.C.N. (Atlantic and Pacific).
Jim had fond memories and many Friends from his 40 year career
at Consumers' Gas. He enjoyed many interests: kids, camping,
pets, gardening, collecting, D.I.Y., and learning assorted trades
at night school. Jim was always curious, ready for adventure
and had a wicked sense of humour. We will miss him. Please join
the family for visitation on Sunday, August 21, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
at Pine Hills Visitation, Chapel and Reception Centre, 625 Birchmount
Road, Scarborough. Funeral Service at 11: 00 a.m. Monday, August

to a second generation of five girls and continued to provide
care and support as Diana's M.S. progressed. She was loved and
cherished by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held at
Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W. Strathroy on Monday
September 12th at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Morley
