Died peacefully at the age of 91 on Thursday, June 30, 2005,
at Toronto East General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Beloved
husband of Dorothy
CRISP.
Loving father of Dennis (predeceased)
and his wife
Maggie, and Lona and her husband Stewart
McBOYLE.
Grandfather of Kimberley and Kat

Survived
by brothers Ron
CRISP of Toronto and Don
McPHAIL of California.
Robert served in the Canadian Navy from 1939-1950. He then worked
for the Toronto Transit Commission for 4 years. During this period,
while serving in the Navy Reserves, Robert was one of three drivers
selected to drive the then Princess Elizabeth and her husband
during the Toronto Segment of their Royal Tour. He was then employed
by the government of Ontario as an Adult Probation Officer until
his retirement in 1977. He was an active member of the East York
Curling Club for many years and was an avid model railroader.
The family is very appreciative of the wonderful care Robert
received while in the Palliative Care Unit of the Toronto East
General Hospital. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey
Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south
of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 3. The
funeral service will be in the chapel on Monday, July 4th at
1 o'clock. If desired, donations to the Palliative Care Unit
of the Toronto East General Hospital, 825 Coxwell Avenue, Toronto,
Ontario M4C 3E7, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
