COWING, Ivan Franklin
Peacefully at Trillium Villa in Sarnia on October 17, 2005, in his 88th year, Ivan Franklin COWING of R.R.#2 Grand Bend. Beloved husband of Donna (née EDWARDS) (HAMACHER) COWING. Loving father of Shirley and Ted MacEY of Tillsonburg, Mervyn COWING and Carol CARTER of Ingersoll and Brian and Maryhelen COWING of Woodstock. Greatly missed by step-children Gillian GIBSON and Michael HAMACHER. Cherished grandfather to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by 1 niece, 1 nephew and sister-in-law Dorothy SMITH- COWING. Mr. COWING was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, Oak Branch 261 in Innerkip, a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters-Innerkip and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Innerkip. Mr. COWING farmed for 14 years at Innerkip, moved to Woodstock where he had a Cartage business for 30 years. He moved with his wife Donna to Grand Bend in 1989. Donations to the charity of choice greatly acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel. Interment at Innerkip Cemetery will take place at a later date.

At Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, on Sunday, January 30th, 2005, at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of Alice (née MacEY,) loving father of Bill and his wife Michelle, Jo-Anne and her husband Charles, Brian and his wife Carole, Janet and her husband Scott, and Geoff. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Matthew, Alex, Jamie, Danielle, Victoria, Christian, by his niece Kathy and her husband Bob and his sister-in-law Grace HUME. A Memorial Service will be held at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to Sunnybrook Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit or the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-3 p.m.

After a long illness on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Wyndham Manor in Oakville, in her 88th year. Will be sadly missed by her brother Jack, friend Barbara, cousins Roy, Dorothy, Steven and Janine MacEY. Private Family Service.
