Jean of Blenheim passed away on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Born in Czechoslovakia 92 years ago, daughter of Frank and Maria KONECNY. She had farmed on the Mull Sideroad with her husband Matt MacHAN who died in 1983. Jean is the loving mother of daughter Sadie PISHL of Chatham and son Frank MacHAN of Blenhiem. Also survived by loved grandchildren: Mary Ellen PISHL; Stephanie DICARLO and Jennie MacHAN; special great grand daughter Natalie and sister Annie TOMECEK, Chatham. Predeceased by two sisters Lillian and Mary; brothers Frank and John KONECNY. Resting at the J.L. (Born 27 August 1915 in Truro, Nova Scotia). Predeceased by her husband Harry and by her sister Sydnie FLEMING/FLEMMING. Dearly loved mother of Robert Gordon (Wanda) and Sydnie MacHAN (Gary.) Proud grandmother of Lori MARSH, Sue BERNARD and Lindsay MacHAN. Great-grandmother to Jeff and Chris, Cameron and Evan. Her family was her greatest joy and interest. The funeral service will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, July 9th, 2005 at 3: 30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Rouge Valley on Monday, June 13, 2005. Flo (née WALLACE,) in her 96th year, beloved wife of the late Alec. She will be remembered always and sadly missed by her very close knit family. Dear mother of Arlene (Bill) CRAWFORD, of Kelowna, British Columbia. Loving grandmother of Bill (Marie) and Bob (Robyn), great-grandmother of Vanessa and Danielle, both of Edmonton, Alec, and great-great-grandmother of Ryan, of Edmonton. Cherished sister of Anne (Tom) FOSTER, of Orillia, Doris (Al) DANIELS, of Newmarket, Frank (Jean) WALLACE, of Newmarket, and Bob (Olive) WALLACE, of Tweed. After a short and spirited battle with lung cancer, Michelle passed away at Henderson Hospital on Monday, August 22, 2005. Loved and missed by her husband Chris SCIME, mother Patricia GERBER, brother Councillor Brian McHATTIE, his wife Dr. Elaine BLAU, their son Mitchell and her many Friends, neighbours and co-workers. Michelle's joy in life and embracing spirit will continue to be an inspiration for all of us.
