years until his retirement in 1989. Cam always cherished the

on Sunday, February 6, 2005, in his 75th year, after a courageous
battle with cancer. Beloved husband and the best friend of Joyce
for the past 47 years. Cherished and devoted father of Craig,
Dean, Blair, and Lisa, and their spouses Sandy, Lisa, Mieke,
and Bill. Grandpa to Duncan, Mason, Melissa, Garrett, Madeleine,
Tristan, Meghan and Brady. Dear brother to Norma and uncle to
all his nieces and nephews. Jack had a long and successful career
in real estate finance and was well respected by his colleagues
as a man of the highest honesty and integrity. He will be remembered
fondly for his kindness and devotion for helping others as well
as his individual commitment to the Lord. His passions were harness
racing, golf, playing the piano and listening to jazz music.
A special thanks to all the people at Princess Margaret, Oshawa
Hospital and Palliative Care who cared for Jack over the past

13, 1915 in Toronto, Ontario and died peacefully on August 6,
2005. Doc will be best remembered for his remarkable interest
in everything and everyone around him, and his extraordinary
ability to make Friends. Doc, a born engineer and natural outdoorsman,
worked for Sherritt Gordon Mines Ltd. for 42 years in numerous
mining camps throughout Northern Ontario and Manitoba. In 1939
he married his high school sweetheart Mary
MITCHELL and took
her to northern Manitoba where they spent their first winter
in a tent at 40 below, to the horror of their parents and delight
of themselves. As mine manager at Lynn Lake, Manitoba, Doc orchestrated
the move of an entire town - buildings, people, dogs and all
- 147 miles over a winter road from Sherridon to a new mine site
at Lynn Lake. He never hesitated to get his hands dirty or to
see things done right. Later, Doc became Vice President of Sales
and travelled around the world selling Sherritt's nickel. When
he retired, he and Mary lived full-time at the 'Saltbox' near
Claremont, Ontario just outside Toronto. His passions were fly-fishing
at Glenmajor, bird-watching and gardening. He energetically cared
for future generations, with a deep involvement in the Canadian
Mineral Industry Education Foundation scholarship program for
engineering students, the Daisy Fund for children seeking treatment
for retinoblastoma, and the pursuit of justice, honesty and common
sense. Throughout it all, Doc built innumerable Friendships,
born of a wonderful confidence, deep interest in and respect
for others. Doc lived at his beloved Saltbox until the last day
of his life. He died in his daughter Brenda's house in Toronto,
surrounded by his family, enquiring after the interesting details
of their lives until the end. Doc,

and a generous father, he will be lovingly missed by his children

Don, the fifth
generation of his family to live on the family homestead, spent
his entire life in Mono Centre. Well-known and respected in the
farming community, he raised prized-winning polled Herefords
for many years. He was also known by cattle breeders of Dufferin
County as an A.I. technician for 17 years. Following this he
became a real estate agent for the John D. Hutchison Real Estate
Agency. Although retired, his life-long interest in his horses
continued to be his greatest enjoyment. A Celebration of Don's
Life will be held at the Mono Community Centre on Saturday, November
12, 2005 from 1: 30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy
donations to the Orangeville Salvation Army would be appreciated.
In keeping with Don's wishes cremation has taken place with burial
in Burns Cemetery a private family occasion. Funeral arrangements
