Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2005 in his 97th year at Kensington Gardens in Toronto. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy SHIZUYE. He will be greatly missed by his son Ron and his wife Judy and by his grandchildren Drew and his wife Jennifer, Scott and his wife Ruth, and Sara and her partner Chad JOHNSON. Also missed by his special extended family members, Bill and Masako IWAMOTO, Yoshie YAMASHITA, Janet and Ron WERNER, Nancy YAMASHITA, Ken, Colette and Kevin YAMASHITA, and Jerry, Denise, Colleen, Wendy and Alexander YAMASHITA. He will be remembered for his inquiring mind, gentle character, and devoted care to his wife. Photography was a great passion, and we will be reminded by his many photos of the role he played in our lives. In his love of life, ability to forgive, and spirituality, he was an exemplar to all that knew him. Our thanks to all the staff in 4 Oxford West at Kensington Gardens, and to Dr. B. Beloved younger brother of his late sisters Tsuyuko and Toshiko, who he sadly missed. Ichiei was always helping others, he enjoyed the sport of golf and was a knowledgeable, loving man at our family gatherings. The influence of his life will live on for he was loved by those who knew him best.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary YAMPOLSKY, at the age of 95, on Friday, January 21, 2005. A much beloved matriarch of a large and loving family, Mary, wife of the late Abe YAMPOLSKY, is survived by her loving children, Bernice and the late Sammy RESNICK, Rose and Lou GOLDSMITH and Marsha and Arthur GODFREY. Mary cherished and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Mark and Cindi RESNICK, David and Elissa RESNICK, Paula and Joel KAZMAN, Lin and Arthur GOLDBERG, Gershon and Laura GOLDSMITH, Bryna and Allan TOWB, Aaron and Rivkah GOLDSMITH, Barbara GODFREY and Adam and Kim GODFREY. Mary was blessed with 19 adoring great-grandchildren and one beautiful great-great grandchild. Mary was predeceased by her siblings Lisa, Manya, Louis, Eva and Percy. Mary's life was full of love and kindness for others, which was always returned to her with open hearts, not just from her wonderful family but from everyone who had the pleasure and honour of her company. Our heartfelt thanks to The Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and her wonderful caregivers Julie, Celia and Paz. Funeral service is on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 12: 00 noon at Steeles Memorial Chapel at 350 Steeles Ave. W. (between Bathurst and Yonge). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary YAMPOLSKY, at the age of 95, on Friday, January 21, 2005. A much beloved matriarch of a large and loving family. Mary, wife of the late Abe YAMPOLSKY, is survived by her loving children, Bernice and the late Sammy RESNICK, Rose and Lou GOLDSMITH and Marsha and Arthur GODFREY. Mary cherished and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Mark and Cindi RESNICK, David and Elissa RESNICK, Paula and Joel KAZMAN, Lin and Arthur GOLDBERG, Gershon and Laura GOLDSMITH, Bryna and Allan TOWB, Aaron and Rivkah GOLDSMITH, Barbara GODFREY and Adam and Kim GODFREY. Mary was blessed with 19 adoring great-grandchildren and one beautiful great-great-grandchild. Mary was predeceased by her siblings Lisa, Manya, Louis, Eva and Percy. Mary's life was full of love and kindness for others, which was always returned to her with open hearts, not just from her wonderful family but from everyone who had the pleasure and honour of her company. Our heartfelt thanks to The Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and her wonderful caregivers Julie, Celia and Paz. Funeral Service is on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 12: 00 noon at Steeles Memorial Chapel, at 350 Steeles Avenue West (between Bathurst and Yonge).
