Stellar sister to Garth and Pat LAWRENCE of Parker, Colorado, Grant and Mary LAWRENCE of Georgetown, Gilda LAWRENCE of Ayton and Glenda and Jerry SKILTON of Shelburne. We would like to give special thanks to Sue's friend Allison for being there and trying her best when Sue was having an Asthma attack, the paramedics for resucitating, the 2 nurses, social worker and doctors in the Critical Care Trauma Unit of Victoria Hospital for their skills and extra kindness. We also would like to thank Mr. Don SKINNER of Needhams Funeral Home and Rev. Ken TAILOR/TAYLOR for their compassion and details at the service. Everyones thoughtfulness and comforting will always be remembered which helped us all with Susan's final farewell. She was so loved. Life will never be the same.

EASTER, " Bob" Robert George
It is with great sadness that the family of "Bob" Robert George EASTER announce his passing at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care, on Monday, April 17, 2006, at the age of 86. Bob was born in Petrolia and moved to Chatham in 1929. He served with the Royal Canadian Army, Service Corps from 1942-1946. When he returned to Canada, he met and married Vera May COOK in 1948. They had five children. Bob was employed for 32 years at Imperial Oil in the Research Department. He was very active in the Scouting Movement in Sarnia and Lambton County for 50 years and served as the Secretary of Chief of the Attawandron. His great passion was the Scout Camp near the Pinery, Attawandron, and was named Chief Walk-in-the-Woods by the Attawandron Chiefs in 1978. He continued his association with the Scouts and Chiefs until his death. In addition, Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and an active with the Bluewater Anglers. Bob is survived by and will be sadly missed by his second wife Madeline " Grace" (BOND) EASTER; his children and grandchildren, Jim and his wife Donna EASTER and their children Michael, David and Lauren; Kevin and his partner Shannon SKINNER and Kevin's children Dan, Jennifer, Megan and Jamie; Mark and his wife Lisa and their son Jack; Karen and her husband Will CRICH and their daughters Julia and Laura and step father of Sam and his wife Wilma BOND and Betty and her husband Jim LEONARD. CAMERON, Eleanor May (SKINNER)
On Friday, June 2, 2006, Eleanor May CAMERON (SKINNER) of London, in her 91st year passed away peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Campus. Wife of the late George CAMERON (1985.) Treasured mother of Nancy CAMERON of London. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara (1949) and her son Hugh (1952). Eleanor was blessed with special Friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. She always deeply cherished her kinship to the Welwood family. Students in many areas of Southwestern Ontario will remember her. She started her teaching in a one room school in Yarmouth Township near Saint Thomas and later in schools in Windsor and London. Eleanor retired as a Librarian in the Masonville Public School in 1980. Since 1939 her summer days were spent at the family cottage at Sauble Beach. Memories of many good times there will be remembered during a celebration of her life to be held with her Friends in Sauble this summer. A graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive, London on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 2 p.m. (Please meet at the main office directly inside the Cemetery gates at 1: 45 p.m.). Caring mother and mother-in-law of Mark TALACH of Waterloo, Jamie and Chris WEISHER of Listowel and Lindsey at home. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sharon and Gary SMITH of Wallaceburg. Step sister of Nickie and Phil KINNAMON of Oklahoma. Sue will be greatly missed by Jackie and Dan and her many nieces and nephews. Sue was a proud teacher of 32 years in the Wallaceburg Public School System, an avid curler, member of Special Education Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors for Community Living Wallaceburg and co-founder of F.R.I.E.N.D.S., a support group helping families of children with Down Syndrome. For 21 years, the loving husband and best friend of Elena KING (SOLDERA,) he will be deeply missed and forever in her heart. Predeceased by his parents, the late Margaret KING and George Robert "Bob" KING of Kincardine, Ontario and devoted son-in-law of Nicola SOLDERA and the late Alma SOLDERA. Brian, who was 58 years young, will be sadly missed by his sister Cathy STRIKE and her husband Jim, sister Ruth and her partner Eric, and brother-in-law Lidio SOLDERA and his wife Netti. A proud uncle to all his nieces and nephews, Stephen STRIKE (Tracy,) Christine STRIKE, Joanne HERRIMAN (T.R.,) Carolyn SKINNER (Don,) Sabrina STRONG, and Ashley, Sandra and Nicholas SOLDERA. Brian also had many wonderful Friends and in particular his long time Friends of 40 years, Craig "Hutch" HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON and Elizabeth SMEDEMA who were always there for him and Elena through this sometimes difficult journey. On Saturday, December 9, 2006, at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Ivy in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late David. Wonderful mother of Susan and her husband Maurice SKIVINGTON, Shirley and her husband Tom NORTON, and Derek and his wife Ariel. Loving grandmother of Alyson and her husband Andreas KAUFMANN, Christine and her partner Steve, Ryan and his partner M.J., Heather and Scott. Delighted great-grandmother of Mara. Will be sadly missed by brother Ern and his wife, Madge, and their children, Colin, Philip, Nigel and Jo and their families. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service 11: 00 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2006 in the Chapel. Interment Saint_Jude's Cemetery.
