After graduating from
Havergal College and Victoria College, U of T, Anne studied the
cello and violin at The Royal Conservatory of Music and later
at the Interlochen Music Camp, Michigan. A restless soul, Anne
lived in various small Ontario towns and was invited to play
the cello in local orchestras. Excellent at crafts, Anne had
her own business designing and building doll houses and Noah's
Arks. Many a lucky child was the recipient of one of these. Anne's
dogs Bouvie and Boz were her much loved constant companions.
She loved music, nature and animals. Anne's family will never
forget the happy get togethers we had with her. A lot of laughs
and fun! She will be missed by her long time friend and school

Peacefully at the North York Seniors Health Centre on January
20th, 2006, in his 88th year. Distinguished career with the Royal
Navy commanding a flotilla of Motor Torpedo Boats in the English
Channel and Indian Ocean during World War 2. Wounded in action
and mentioned in dispatch. Captain H.M.C.S. Chippawa (Winnipeg)
for 9 years. President of the Naval Officer's Association. Long
and distinguished career in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
starting as a broadcaster covering the Royal tours, tall ships
and other special events. He was responsible for many innovations
in the early days of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Retired
as head of International Relations. Predeceased by his wife Ruth.
