McEACHERN, Chase Robert Ivan Garnet
Peacefully at the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario on Wednesday February 15, 2006 at the age of 11. Beloved son of John and Dorothy. Loving brother of Cole. Treasured grand_son of "Nan" Jean and the late Garnet McEACHERN of Barrie, and Mabel and the late Ivan SHELDON of Sunderland. Dear nephew of Nancy and John BROOKS of Oakville, and Carol SHELDON of Sunderland. Sadly missed by cousins Ryan, Colin, Joel, and Taylor BROOKS of Oakville, great-uncle Murray AMOS of Stroud, grade 6 classmates at Prince of Wales School, Vaughan minor pee-wee AAA hockey team, past team-mates in Barrie, and many, many, many dear Friends. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (Clapperton and Worsley Streets) Barrie, on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Chase's Life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 47 Owen Street. Barrie, on Tuesday February 21, 2006 at 1: 00 p.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at Prince of Wales School, Emergency staff at Royal Victoria Hospital, and the doctors and nurses at London's Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit. Donations in Chase's memory to the Sick Children's Foundation, Toronto, in support of Cardiology or the Pediatric Critical Care Unit at London Victoria Hospital would be appreciated.
