Peacefully at her residence, on Friday, February 10, 2006. Dorothy (TIERNEY) of Peterborough in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Jim AMODEO. Dear mother of Gayle (Brett LYON) and Cindy (Mike KOENDERS) all of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Jamie and Tara. Sister of Pat KENT of Keswick. Special niece of Kay and Walter COLE of Toronto and close cousin to Ron WATTON of Vancouver. Funeral prayers will be held at the Nisbett Funeral Home and Chapel, 600 Monaghan Rd. S., Peterborough on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 1: 00 p.m. Visitation will be held in the Nisbett Chapel from 12: 00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday. Cremation will be followed by inurnment in Toronto at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated. Passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton on Saturday, March 4, 2006 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Sally. Loving father of Sal and his wife Pearl, Theresa AGIUS and her husband Joe, Frank and his wife Denise, Francesann THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and her husband Eric, Nancy OSKIRKO and her husband Rick and Josephine MELVILLE and her husband David. Loving grandfather of Joseph (Nancy), David (Rhonda), Deborah (Joe CABRAL), Joey (deceased), Jennifer, Matthew, Thomas, Nicholas, Patrick, Melissa and Michael and great grandfather of Daniel and Alexander. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10 North of Queen Elizabeth Way) from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
