Died peacefully at home surrounded by family, April 7th, 2006,
in her 90th year. Marny was a gatherer of family and Friends,
her extra-ordinary love of people fulfilled her life in Pointe
Claire and Bark Lake. We were all privileged to share in the
richness and diversity of her history. She will be missed by
many. Marny was the beloved wife of the late Rupert DeWitt
JACK,
predeceased by brother Leo and sisters Emily (Bunty) and Dorothy
(Dice)(Willie), she is survived by 6 children; Robert (Mary),
Barbara (Rob), Gwinne (Paul), Stuart (Heather), Doug (Rebecca)
and Marjorie, by 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial
Service will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 2006 at 3: 30 p.m.
in the Chapel of Collins Clarke MacGillvray White Funeral Home,
222 Highway 20 (Exit 49 Cartier) Pointe Claire (514) 483-1870.
Visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Cedars Cancer Institute, 687 Pine
Avenue W., Montreal, Québec H3A 1A1, would be greatly appreciated.
