ROBB, Jean (EVANS)
Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2006, Jean (EVANS) ROBB of Countryside Manor, formerly of Ilderton in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Alexander ROBB (1991.) Dear mother of daughter Mary MARSHALL and her husband Joe of Ilderton, grandchild Glen MARSHALL and his wife Liz, great-grandchildren Alyssa and Ryan, grandchild Tracy CHAPMAN and her husband Abe, great-grandchildren Teigan and Logan, grandchild Andy MARSHALL and his wife Lisa; son Jamie ROBB and his wife Beckie of Point Clarke, granddaughter Jennifer MARRINAN and her husband Dwayne, great-grand_son Aidan and grand_son Michael ROBB; daughter Gayle BYCRAFT and her husband Paul of Ilderton, grand_son Jeff BYCRAFT and his wife Tammy, great-granddaughter Jessica, granddaughter Carrie WATERS and her husband Jeff, great-granddaughter Abigale, granddaughter Sandra BYCRAFT; daughter Diane GODWIN of Denfield, grandchildren Brent, Megan, Brooke and Mark GODWIN son Edward ROBB and his wife Karen of Ilderton, granddaughters Laura and Beth ROBB, daughter Carolyn BLEWETT and her husband John of Saint Thomas, and grandchildren Nolan and Emma BLEWETT. Predeceased by sisters Eleri SHAINLINE, Dorothy GILLIES, and Gareth OLSEN and brothers Elfin EVANS and Robert EVANS. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the T. Stephenson & son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig where the visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Vanneck United Church (Vanneck Road) on Wednesday, February 15 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Bill McAUSLAN officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Littlewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Vanneck United Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mrs. Jean ROBB.

KENNEDY, D'Arcy John
On February 28th, 2006 at The Wenleigh Nursing Home, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (née FEATHERSTONE.) Loving father of Mary-Ellen and her husband Walter BYCZYNSKI, Denis and his wife Lynette, Neil and his wife Juliet, and the late Patricia and dear son-in-law Raymond BETHUNE. Cherished grandfather of Darci, Jeffrey (Michelin), Glenn (Natalie), Matthew, Rayna, Julie (Angus), Jennifer and Michael and great-grandfather to Gabriel, Patrick, Benjamin and Katie. Dear brother of Margaret (Tom), Rita, Eileen, Thomas (Noreen), Clare (John), and the late Paul and William (Kay). D'Arcy spent his career as a flight dispatcher starting with Trans-Canada Airlines (later Air Canada). He was President of the Canadian Airline Dispatchers Association and was a visionary that co-founded the International Federation of Airline Dispatchers' Associations. He served faithfully as Executive Chairman for several years until eventually becoming President Emeritus. D'Arcy also supported the Allied effort during World War 2 by serving the Royal Air Force Ferry Command as a Radio Officer. He was dedicated to his local church, volunteering regularly in many capacities including choir member for over 30 years, and when St. Joseph's was destroyed by fire in 1985, was a key member involved in its reconstruction by serving on its building committee. His joys included reading, gardening, music and world-wide travel with his lifelong companion Eileen. Friends will be received at the Neweduk Funeral Home "Mississauga Chapel", 1981 Dundas St. W. (1 block east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Friday from 10-11: 30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 5440 Durie Road, Streetsville on Friday, March 3rd, 2006 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in D'Arcy's memory to the St. Joseph's Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
