Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family in his
75th year. Loving husband of Julie for 50 years. Dear father
of Mary Ann, Helen, Kristina (Sam) and Vasil (Brenda). Cherished
Dido to his grandchildren Michael, Kevin and David. He is also
survived by his sister, Christina
BYKIV of Oshawa. Michael was
born August 7, 1932 in Tereblo, Ukraine and came to Canada in
1952. He married the love of his life, Julie, in 1956. Together,
they started a family and shared a happy marriage and lifelong
Friendship. Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather
and successful businessman. He lived and worked in the Bloor
West Village community for over 44 years. He was a real estate
broker and the founder of Baby Point Real Estate Ltd. He served
his clients with the highest level of professionalism and dedication
for over 38 years. Michael will be sadly missed by his family
and many Friends. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke
Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway,
on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral
service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2006, at 11 a.m.
in the Chapel. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. For those who wish,
donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
