interment in Mount Hope Cemetery have taken place. Flowers gratefully

Frances was born and raised
in Markdale, Ontario where some extended family still reside.
She lived most of her adult life in Guelph, where she raised
her children, worked full time and nursed her ailing first husband
Donald WALLER who died in 1975. She married Edward
HOHENADEL
and lived many happy years until his death in 1994. Frances was
most known for her helpfulness to the community of homes where
she lived. She was the neighbour that was ready to lend a helping
hand and she worked closely and happily with Mr. Gert
PATSCH.
She was an avid gardener and loved to share her love of plants
with others. In respecting her wishes there will be a small family
gathering in her honour. Friends are welcomed to send a memorial
donation to The Canadian Cancer Society or plant a tree in her
memory. The family would like to thank all of Frances's Friends
and neighbours who enriched her life, with a special thanks to
those who assisted her in these last few months. She appreciated
your laughter and kind words.

On June 19, 2006, Walter died far too young at the age of 73
peacefully at the palliative care ward of Nanaimo General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne, of 49 years, daughter Marie,
son John, daughter-in-law Deirdre, granddaughter Rachael, and
his sisters, Lea, Gerda and Myrna and brother, Gil. Walter served
clients as a chartered accountant in Vancouver for 43 years.
Walter's career was spent with a single firm that saw a series
of mergers and name changes: Davenport Clark, Fred Graham and
sons, Campbell Sharp Nash and Field, Campbell Sharp, Pannell Kerr
Forster, Doane Raymond and finally Grant Thornton. He was Western
Regional Managing Partner of the firm for the last 5 years of
his practice before his retirement in 1994. His retirement years
have been enjoyed at Fairwinds in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia.
Walter was a beloved husband, father and friend who enjoyed golfing,
cycling and recently, cooking. He was loved by all and will be
greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Fraserview
Mennonite Church, 11295 Mellis Drive, Richmond, British Columbia
on June 29, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. A reception will follow in the
Church hall. The family would like to thank the caring nurses,
doctors and staff of the palliative care ward in the Nanaimo
General Hospital for their assistance in Walter's final days

Born April 11, 1934 in Prince George, British Columbia. Adored
husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Fred died on November 7,
2006 at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver of complications
from myelofibrosis. He is survived by his wife

Fred graduated from the University of British Columbia with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in 1960, and went on to a distinguished
career as a civil servant, working for the City of Kelowna, City
of Prince George, British Columbia Land Department, and for 29 years
for the Department of Indian Affairs, of which he was Director
General in Alberta and later in British Columbia. Highlights
of his career included being made an honourary chief of the Keheewin
Indian Band in Alberta in 1976, receiving the Queen's Jubilee
medal in 1977, and serving as chief federal negotiator for the
Nishga'a land claim for several years before his retirement in
1990. He derived great pleasure coaching the 1984 Forest Hills
Little League baseball champions, Stongs; walking his much-loved
dogs Nikki, Smokey, and Misha in the Capilano Canyon; and being
involved in the Federal Liberal Party, serving as President of
the West VancouverSunshine Coast riding association for several
years. A life-long student of Canadian history and avid follower
of provincial, national, and world politics, Fred loved his beautiful
province and country. Please join us to celebrate his life at
3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14 at Highlands United Church in
North Vancouver, 3255 Edgemont Blvd. A private burial will take
place earlier that day at Capilano View Cemetery in West Vancouver.
His family wishes to thank Doctors Richard Horner, Stephen Nantel,
and Isnet Tejpar, and the many skilled and caring nurses of the
Bone Marrow Transplant Day Care Unit at Vancouver General Hospital
whom he came to know over the past few months. In lieu of flowers,

Peacefully surrounded by her family, passed away on Sunday, January
8, 2006. Born in Stetler, Alberta on July 4, 1931 and raised
in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Moved to Toronto in 1948 and married
Lew on August 20, 1955. She will be missed dearly by her beloved
husband Lew, her daughter Yvonne, her son Jerry, her daughter-in-law
Elena, her brothers Bill and Greg
MAYDANSKY and her grandchildren
Valeria, Tamara, Alex and Adrianna. Anne was a wonderful woman
and those whose hearts she touched will surely never forget her.
Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street (near
Keele) on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. with Panachida at 7: 30 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 9: 15 a.m., then to
St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (Queen at Bellwoods) for
Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow, Park Lawn Cemetery.
