Frances grew up in Toronto
attended B.S.S. (Bishop Strachan School) and the University of
Toronto. She was a member of the Pi Phi Fraternity and a life
member of the Georgian Club. She moved West in 1947 and spent
the remainder of her years in Vancouver. During her many active
years Frances volunteered with the Vancouver Art Gallery Auxiliary,
The Alliance Francaise, the Canadian National Institute for the
Blind and her beloved S. James' Anglican Church. The quintessential
hostess and Gourmet, Fran's dinners at 'Balaclava' were legendary
as were dinners at her summer home 'Pine Acre', where she managed
to produce remarkable fare from a cottage kitchen. Frances is
survived by her three children: David, Brian and Margot; spouses
Tanya, Jennifer and Clarke, and grandchildren: Matthew, Naomi,
Ian (and Farah), Michael, Kate and James. In lieu of flowers,
Frances requested that donations be sent to: The British Columbia
Borstal Association, 9 West Broadway Street, Vancouver, British
Columbia V5Y 1P1 "For the selection and training of volunteers
for British Columbia Corrections Branch Projects" a lifelong
project of her late husband. A memorial service will be held
at S. James' Anglican Church, 303 East Cordova Street, Vancouver
at 10h00 Saturday, July 29, 2006.

Pearl was born to homesteaders Jacob and Bessie
NELSON in a sod
shack near Ceylon, Saskatchewan., the third of six children.
After being raised on the family farm, she attended Normal School
in Regina. Her teaching career began in a one-room school and
continued for many years throughout Saskatchewan., Alberta, and
British Columbia After her husband, Jimmy, retired they moved
to Saratoga Beach, Vancouver Island in 1967. Jimmy and Pearl
moved to Victoria for a few years and later returned to enjoy
the serenity of the Comox Valley. Predeceased by her beloved
husband Jimmy on April 11, 1991, Pearl then shared a home with
her older sister, Connie
(ERICKSON) until 1998. Just prior to
her 90th birthday, Pearl became a resident of Glacier View Lodge,
Courtney, British Columbia, where she remained until her passing.
Pearl was predeceased by her brothers Milo and Clarence, and
her sisters Opal and Connie, and is survived by one younger brother,
Everett (Ada)
NELSON of Radville, Saskatchewan. and numerous
nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly
remembered and greatly missed by all her family and the countless
Friends she made throughout her life. Her niece, Orla (Bruce)
BOLTON, and other members of Pearl's family would like to express
their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Glacier View for
their loving care of Pearl during her time there. No service

Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Peace Arch Hospital
in White Rock, British Columbia. Born January 5, 1921 in North
Bay, and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Bill joined the Royal
Canadian Air Force in 1941 and served in England as a F/L pilot
instructor with the Commonwealth Air Training Plan. He earned
a Forestry Degree at U of T, and raised a family of eight children
with his wife of 63 years, Kathleen (Kay). Upon retiring in 1969,
Bill and Kay relocated to White Rock, British Columbia where
he enjoyed a second career in real estate and as a Canadian Executive
Services Association Advisor. Predeceased by son Donald, grand_son
Peter and great-grand_son Sage and by his sisters Elizabeth
HOBBS
and June TAILOR/TAYLOR.
Bill will be very much missed and always remembered
by his wife Kay, two sons William George and Brian Douglas and

79, died peacefully at home in the presence of his family on
February 15, 2006, in Sedona, Arizona, after a brief stay in
hospital. Born 1926 in Stockholm, Sweden, Henry was the youngest-ever
Chemical Engineering graduate of Stockholm's S.T.I., where he
evening-schooled himself and met classmate Margaretha
ERICSSON,
his future wife. He later became a business administration graduate.
Henry worked in Sweden 1943-50; in New York City 1950-55; at
the Lukens and Latrobe steel companies in Pennsylvania 1955-64
in the marketing arm of Canada's Falconbridge mining group in
Toronto 1964-77, and
as Exec. Vice Pres. and Gen. Mgr. of Falconbridge
International in Bermuda from 1977. During his Bermuda years,
he relished sailing his 30 ft sloop "Four Flags" amongst the
coral reefs. "But best is retirement life since 1981 in wonderful
Sedona", where he enjoyed an active retired life and new experiences
at home and overseas, often touring his beloved America by motorcycle.
Passionate about world politics and history, he felt very fortunate
to have documented his own family roots back to the 1400's, and
of his international life. He never met a dog he couldn't love,
adopting many and admiring all. Surviving are his wife of 53
years, Margaret; son Nils in Toronto, daughter-in-law Andrea,
grandchildren Nicholas and Emma Margaret; and daughter Ingrid
in Victoria, British Columbia, son-in-law Quentin and granddaughter
Kristina; and many family members in Sweden. Pre-deceased are
parents Ernst Edmund

Eldon WRIGHT passed away at the Lee Manor Nursing Home, Owen
Sound on Friday, February 24, 2006 in his 79th year. Formerly
of Dundalk, he and his wife Adelene, were residents there for
a few months, following a lengthy stay in Markdale hospital.
Born April 22, 1927 he was the youngest
son of three to William
and Emily
(RICH)
WRIGHT, South Line, Osprey. He remained living
with his mother following the death of his father on December 29,
October 5, 1957 he married Adelene
MUIR who survives. They lived
in the family home while his mother lived in a home built on
the farm property. Later they moved to Dundalk on Main Street
West and following the passing of his brother, Harry, moved to
the residence on Victoria Street.
Surviving besides his wife are two sisters-in-law, Violet
(WRIGHT)
RAWLINGS of Maxwell and Rosetta
MUIR of Dundalk; nieces and nephews
on the WRIGHT side are Wayne
WRIGHT and Sharon
HARRISON. On the
Muir side are Jim, Jack, Ron, Bob
