WASON, Karen (née EUBANK)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Karen WASON on June 24, 2006. Taken from us was the loving devoted mother Aida, Robert and and Geoffrey. far too soon, Karen wife of Stuart and of Michael and partner wife Racheal, David. Devoted daughter of the late Laura and Howard EUBANK and daughterin-law of Marjorie and the late J. Stuart M. WASON. She will be deeply missed by sister Judy PATTERSON and husband Terry, sister Bette EUBANK, and brother Lawrie EUBANK and wife Charlotte. She will be lovingly remembered by all her cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her aunts and uncles, Helen and Sean DUNN, Jean and Ted PALLETT and Pauline PALLETT. Karen will be sadly missed by the hundreds of former students and staff of Northern Secondary School, Earl Haig Secondary School, Lester B. Pearson Collegiate Institute and Woburn Collegiate Institute at which she taught English and the love of learning during her teaching career. The family expresses its deep appreciation for the comfort and support provided by family, Friends at home and from around the globe, colleagues and the Henry Farm community. Sincere thanks to the front-line cancer doctors, nurses and technicians at Princess Margaret Hospital and the oncology wing of North York General Hospital for their dedication, skill and caring. A service in memory of Karen will be held Friday, June 30, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. at Forest Grove United Church, 43 Forest Grove Drive, North York. A reception at the church for family and Friends will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
