Peacefully at his home in Strathroy, surrounded by his family, on Friday, July 7th, 2006, in his 78th year. Ray Gerardus WIENDELS, beloved husband for 49 years of Hendrika (Mary) (VAN DEN HOVEN) WIENDELS. Visitation will be held at the Denning Bros Funeral Home in Strathroy on Monday, July 10th, 2006 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 6: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be conducted on Tuesday, July 11th, at All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Strathroy at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. (Jerry) HYDE Jr. and his wife Sandra of Summerside, Prince Edward Island; J. Gordon HYDE and his wife Michelle and Joan HYDE and her husband Ian CHENG of London. Also loved by her 4 grandchildren Jennifer and Andrew HYDE and Kristen and Tyler CHENG. Predeceased by her 2 sisters Mrs. Marjorie EDWARDS and Mrs. Dorothy WARD. Loving father of David and Donna of Port Hope, Dianne and Brian DOMINAS of Cambridge and the late Daniel and the late Chrystal. Dear grandfather of Jason and Siobhan LOVEJOY, Colleen and Mick SMITH, Tracy LOVEJOY, Karen and Darren CLARKE, Christine DOMINAS and Philip DOMINAS and the late Michael DOMINAS. She will be sadly missed by her goddaughters Annette FABIAN (son Kevin FABIAN) and her partner Lloyd HUSS, and Christine MORGAN and her husband Clayton. Marie will also be missed by her Friends. HYDE, Bettye Marguerite (née BAMBRIDGE)
(March 3, 1918-November 23, 2006)
In Ottawa on Thursday, November 23, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Laurence Evelyn HYDE. Survived by her loving sons, Anthony (Kathleen) of Ottawa; and Christopher (Mariea) of Toronto. Grandmother of Noah and Chelsea. Sister of Margaret McLEAN, of Toronto; Barbara BAMBRIDGE of London, England; and the late William F. BAMBRIDGE of Fort Erie, Ontario. Bettye was a life-long activist in her community, and one of the pioneers of early childhood education in the Ottawa area. She founded the co- operative nursery school which today bears her name, and helped establish the early childhood education programme at Algonquin College. She will be deeply missed by her family, former colleagues, and especially by those whose childhood was touched by her life. The funeral will be private, with a remembrance gathering to be announced. Arrangements in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, Ottawa. HODGSON, Anne Churchill (née HYDE)
At age 96 years, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 at Residence Desjardins in St. Sauveur des Monts, Quebec. She was the widow of Jonathan Archibald HODGSON whom she married on October 25, 1930 and who predeceased her in October 1974. "Pinkie" as she was affectionately known, graduated from McGill University in 1930 and was very active in the Junior League, Young Women's Christian Association, Women's Canadian Club, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Garden Club. She was an avid gardener and loved above all else her home and garden at Murray Lake in Morin Heights. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family which include her four children: Joanne Locke KRONLACHNER of Toronto, Charles Jonathan HODGSON of Toronto, Allan Archibald HODGSON of London, England, and David Churchill HODGSON of Morin Heights; her 11 grandchildren, Bruce (deceased,) Vivian, Jaeger, Jean, Ryan and Allan of Charles Jonathan; Lucinda, Jonathan, and Anne of Allan and Jennifer Anne and Nancy Norah of David. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be private.

Peacefully on March 27th, 2006 after a long and courageous fight with cancer at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Wavey for 54 years. Cherished father of Mary. Respected father-in-law of Jim (Grandy). Step-grandfather of Glenn (Liz, Clancy, Alex) and Sheila, and a surrogate father to many. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews across Canada. Eddie will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the health care workers who helped Eddie with his battle over the years with a special heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Toronto East General Palliative Care Unit who helped Eddie and his family through this difficult time. Friends may call at the Trull (East Toronto) Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1111 Danforth Avenue (1 block east of Donlands Subway) on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at which time a service will take place in the chapel.
