Beloved husband of the
late Ruth Ann
FISHER, 1927-1988. Beloved companion of his faithful
dog, Zoe. Roy had an active mind and body, and pursued many interests
to keep both occupied: skiing, archaeology, history, tennis,
bridge, travel, photography and, not least of all, his profession,
chemical engineering. In pursuit of excellence throughout his
life, he constantly strived to improve his professional knowledge
and skills, and did the same with his many hobbies. After retiring
in 1989, he turned to his main passion, photography, and received
awards for the landscape photographs he took throughout Canada
and the Western U.S. seaboard. He and his family both lived in
and travelled throughout Canada, the U.S. and Europe. Friends
in Montreal, Toronto, Wichita (Kansas), Edmonton, Vancouver and
Ottawa will miss him. Roy is survived by his sister, Irene
BROWN,
his two children, Norman and Janet
HYER, and his spouse, Jacoba
VAN
MAANEN. He will be remembered with love and affection. Friends
may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe
Avenue, at Richmond Road, in Ottawa, on Wednesday, July 19, 2006,
from 12 noon until the service time in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment
at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Humane Society.

Loving husband for 60 years of the former Alma
WILKINSON.
Dear
father of Kenneth and his wife Christina of Lachine, Quebec,
and John and Barbara of Burlington. Grandfather of Craig of Saskatoon,
Stephanie of Louisiana, Karen and her husband Darrin of Maui,
and Steven of Calgary. Stepgrandfather of Victoria
LENNOX of
Burlington. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters
in England and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service
will be conducted in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 47 Albert
St. N., Southampton on Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m.
with the Reverend Creola
