BELLAMY,
Margaret
Mary
(DORITY)
Peacefully in her sleep at the Stayner Nursing Home on February
13, 2006, Margaret
BELLAMY
(DORITY) took God's hands in hers.
Beloved wife of the late William
BELLAMY, loved mother of Bill
(Sharron), Lois (John), Ralph (Pat) and Paul (Stephanie). Dear
sister of Elsie
McDOUGALL; predeceased by brother Elmer, sisters
Gretie and Edith. Cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren,
and great grandmother to seven great grandchildren. She loved
the visits by her nieces and nephews as well.
She was a chartered member of Centennial United Church Women,
and the Ontario Women's Institute. Margaret was a caring, gentle
lady who always greeted you with a warm smile and a friendly
chat. She had an avid interest in handiwork, and during her early
years of marriage, the Alliston Fall Fair always had some red
ribbons to hand out to her for bread and pastry entries.
Among her many attributes was caring for others. In her early
married life, whether it was in Alliston, Hawkestone, or Avening,
she was the local "Welcome Wagon hostess" to those who had just
moved into the neighbourhood, delivering them a fresh pie or
two. When she was a resident at Blue Mountain Manor, you would
often see her in the hallways assisting others in wheelchairs
and walkers.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Dr.
IVES,
Stayner
Nursing
Home staff, and Dr. Shane
STAINTON for their
caring, Friendship, and many happy times shown to Mother over
the years. Now in God's loving embrace, she will be sadly missed
but her love and spirit will remain within our hearts and minds
forever.
