At the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Wednesday, January 18th, 2006. Robert BROWN of Innisfil in his 84th year, beloved husband of the late Lee BROWN. Loving father of Cathy and her husband Keith HAMPSHIRE of Lefroy, Jan and her husband David KUBBINGA of Oshawa. Loving grandfather of Laurie and her husband Danny REGU, Christian HAMPSHIRE and his wife Megan, Laura HAMPSHIRE, Ashley and Robert KUBBINGA and great-grandfather of Logan REGU. Dear brother of Bill BROWN and his wife Sophia of London, Don BROWN and his Betty of Southampton and the late John BROWN and his wife Wanda. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Road at Young Street, Barrie on Friday from 2: 00 p.m. until the time of Service in the Chapel on Friday, January 20th, 2006 at 3: 00 p.m. Cremation. PARKER, Donna Marie (LANNAN)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna Marie PARKER (LANNAN.) She passed away peacefully at home on December 30th, 2005 after a short but courageous battle with cancer, she was 69 years of age. Donna was born on April 2nd, 1936 in Ashfield Township, Ontario where she spent her youth. She leaves to mourn Ian, her beloved husband of 48 years and her 5 children Gary Richard (Angela,) Margaret Anne (Kevin) LOVELL, Arlene Lynn (Ben) KUBIAK, Darrin Ian (Jean), Cheryl Denise (Wade) BRADLEY. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren Stephanie, Amy, Sarah, Nicole, Benjamin, Kylie, Emily, Cole, Joey and Aaron and 1 great grandchild Logan. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Her family would like to especially thank all those who came to support us during the most difficult time of our lives. Also a sincere appreciation to Palliative Care nurse Linda MOOREHOUSE, the Palliative Team at Victorian Order of Nurses and Dr. Lloyd BRUBACHER for their support and dedication. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church London on Tuesday, January 3rd, at 1: 30 with Father Dominique BORG officiating. At St. Joseph's Health Centre, London, on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, Janina Maria (ADAMSKA) NOWAK in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Jan "John" S. NOWAK (2005.) Dear mother of Peter NOWAK (Gerta) and Anna KUBIAK- WITKOWSKA (Lech) both of London. Loving grandmother of Michael and Monica. Sister-in-law of Maria ADAMSKA of London. Also survived by several brothers and sisters in Poland. Visitors will be received at the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Friday from 6: 00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street, on Saturday at 10: 00 a.m. Interment Saint Peter's Cemetery. Courageously on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Jewish General Hospital. Beloved husband of Sylvie KUBIAK. Loving father of Matthew (Mercedes), Adam and Jarrett. son of Clifford BUTLER and the late Elspeth BUTLER. Special brother of Lynn BUTLER- KISBER (Stephen), Lesley FRASER- BURTON (Harry), Lorel CRAWFORD (Michael) and uncle of Jasen (Laura) and Lisa KISBER, Leigh FRIEL (Sean,) Stephen FRASER (Alison), Julie SELLARS (Chris), Carley CRAWFORD (Craig,) Zachary CRAWFORD (Maryse) and great uncle of Ashley and Ryan FRIEL. Son-in-law of Denise Bernier KUBIAK and brother-in-law of Raymond KUBIAK and Diane KUBIAK (Claude DOUESNARD.) His loss will be deeply felt by his many Friends and colleagues whose lives he touched. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2006 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Bellevue Golf Club, 880 Lery Blvd., Lery, Québec, J6N 1B7. Peacefully on November 20, 2006 at the Parkwood Hospital at the age of 70. Predeceased by her husband Earl (Mick) ACKLES. Beloved friend of Alex KUBITZA. Loving mother of Debra ADAM/ADAMS (Phil,) Bonnie MARTIN, Eldon ACKLES (Della), Wendy KROLL (Mike), Tammy MARCHANT, Timothy KIRK (Kim), Wayne POWELL and Dennis DELEARY. Proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Pat PARDY, and half sisters Linda, Rose and Lois. The family will receive Friends at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Dear father of Michele (Gary) HEIDEKAMP, Thomas (Lisa) SCHIRMER, Karin (Ross) PALMER, Simone (Rob) FRASER, and Andre SCHIRMER all of London. Dear brother of Ute KUBITZKE of Germany and the late Doris CANNON. Loving Opa to Michael, Philip, Lauren, Alexandra and Megan. Long standing member of the German Canadian Club and the Fanshawe Yacht Club. Michael retired after 38 years of service at Unifin. Peacefully at home with loving care by family after a bout with pneumonia at the age of 85, Friday, January 27, 2006. Beloved husband of Bonnie (KUBOTA,) cherished father of Dan and his wife Kathy, caring and proud Grandpa of Dano and Alex. Sadly missed by his sisters Toshiko and Yoshie, brothers Buck (wife Aya) in Kaslo, British Columbia, Bill (Vi), Kunio, Shane (wife Claire) and Hideo. Predeceased by sisters Aiko and Chito and brother Harry. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and Friends.
