of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Saint Thomas. She came to Saint Thomas
in 1949 from Germany and retired from United Technologies in
1990. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer
on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral
service will be held on Thursday October 19, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m.

Joseph was a retired employee for the City of Toronto. Friends

On March 7, 2006, Mr. Dore (Ted)
KUSHAR of Oakville, in his 91st
year. Ted's faith in God and love for his family guided him and
gave him strength. Cherished and devoted husband of Mara. Loving
father of John of Oakville and Dorce of Slovenia. He will be
greatly missed by his grand_sons Andre of Oakville, Bostjan, Mateja
and Petra of Slovenia and his great-grandchild Nika of Slovenia.
Ted will be lovingly remembered by all his family and Friends
here in Oakville and
in Slovenia. Ted was born and raised in
Ljubljana, Slovenia. He participated in the 1936 Olympics and
was and avid mountain climber and skier in his beloved Slovenia.
Ted and Mara moved to Canada in 1952 where he perfected his love
of book-binding as a career. Ted made some lifetime Friends in
Collingwood where he continued to ski. He was blessed with a
wonderful voice and sang in the choir at Marije Pomagaj (Our
Lady Help of Christians) Church in Toronto. We will miss you
terribly, but remember you are always in our hearts for the unique
person you were. We love you. Friends will be received at the
Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington
and Kipling Aves., at 14th Street, 416-259-3705) on Friday, March
10, 2006 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday,

formerly of Straffordville, at the age of 84 years. Born January 12,
1922, Jablonov, Slovenskó daughter of the late Jozef
DOBOS and
the late former Julianna

DOBOS.
Charles and Julianna
emigrated to Canada in 1948 and they were one of the very first
parish families at the St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, Courtland.
Together they grew tobacco near Straffordville for 23 years until
their retirement. Julianna was a dedicated member of the St.
Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church and Past President of the St.
Ladislaus Ladies Auxiliary; dedicated member of the Delhi Hungarian
Home, and an avid bowler with the Tillsonburg Ladies Bowling
League.
