Peacefully at his residence Forest on Friday May 5th, 2006 Donald Archie MUNROE at age 71. Loving husband of Margaret (UPFOLD) MUNROE. Dear father of Bill (Debbie) of London, John (Kelly) and Elizabeth (Rob) TURNBULL all of Forest. Dear grandfather of Christopher, Sierra, Madysen and Reegan MUNROE; Hunter, Abby and Emma MUNROE- TURNBULL. Survived by sister Shirley NUGENT of London. Predeceased by a sister Jean SCOTT of Ingersoll. Donald served 30 years with the Ontario Provincial Police retiring in 1993. Resting at the Gilpin Funeral Chapel Forest where funeral service will be held on Monday May 8th at 1 p.m. with Rev. Ena VAN ZOEREN officiating. Peacefully after a brief illness, at University Hospital on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at age 65. Loving mother of Martha and Molly CREALOCK. Dear sister of Dale NUGENT and his wife Jeanne and Nancy GAGNÉ and her husband Peter. Aunt of Marie-Claire, Jill, and Glenn. Carol will be fondly remembered by Doctor Lynn WELLS, the Oya family, and many close Friends in Thorndale, London and beyond. She was a well respected professor of education at Althouse College, U.W.O. for over 25 years. Carol was an avid gardener, world traveller and active community builder. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 Saint_James Street at Richmond. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, September 25 at 2: 00 p.m. at the Unitarian Fellowship of London, 557 Clarke Road. Cremation with interment in Robin's Hill Cemetery at a later date. Passed away suddenly at his home in Toronto on Friday morning, April 14, 2006. Reunited with Bride, his devoted wife of 49 years. He will always be loved and remembered by his grandchildren: Adam, Ben, Christopher, Kaelan, Katie and Nicole. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Sarah POWER and brothers Raymond, Ted, Kevin, Joseph and Matthew. He leaves behind his brother William POWER, his sisters-in-law Alice DOWER, Mary DOWER, Elizabeth (George) HAWCO; brother-in-law Ron (Shirley) DOWER and their families. HULL, J. Ross (1920-2006)
Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the age of 85. Ross was born in Toronto, the son of the late William HULL and Cynthia ROONEY. He attended Humberside Collegiate. During World War 2 he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in England, France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and northern Germany. He married Joan ANDREWS in 1947. After graduating from the University of Toronto in Mechanical Engineering in 1950, he worked for Foreman and Pratt in Toronto until 1963, and for Babcock-Wilcox in Cambridge until his retirement in 1985. Survived by his sons Kenneth HULL (Marianne MELLINGER) of Kitchener and Stephen (Tricia THORPE) of Bristol, England grandchildren Melanie (Nathan NUGENT,) Diana (Frederic CAVINE,) Christopher and Matthew; great-grand_son Anthony. Predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Joan (August 2004), and his three brothers William, Gilbert and Gordon. Friends are invited to the visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2006.
