Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 19,
2006 in the Palliative Care Unit at Lions Gate Hospital. She
is survived by her husband, Alan
NURMESTE, her daughter, Quinn,
her brothers John, Jim (Ann), Bruce (Eileen) and her nieces and
nephew. April worked as a consultant in the pension and investment
industry and was a respected member of the Society of Actuaries.
A Memorial Service is being held at 1: 00 p.m. on Saturday September 23,
2006 at St. Francis-in-the-Wood, 4773 S. Piccadilly Road, West
Vancouver, British Columbia, www.stfrancisinthewood.ca Many thanks
to the medical and nursing staff at Lions Gate Hospital. In lieu
