Beryl retired from teaching after a career that spanned 30 years.
She started teaching developmentally handicapped children at
Trafalgar School and went on to teaching English and Guidance
at Kenner Collegiate. A gifted teacher, "Mrs, O" will be fondly
remembered by her many students whose lives she influenced. Beryl's
courage and determination to change teaching helped pave the
way for those who followed her. Friends will be received at the
Comstock Funeral Home, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough (705) 745-4683,
on Thursday, December 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service
will be held in the chapel on Friday, December 29, at 11: 00 a.m.
Donations to the Salvation Army would be gratefully acknowledged.
Our sincere thanks to the kind staff of Princess Gardens, the
Palliative Care Unit at Saint_Joseph's Hospital and Lorraine, Marie
and Anne for their care and companionship in Mom's final days.
