OGDEN, Colin Worsley
On Monday, June 5th 2006, at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Grace OGDEN. Loving father of Carol Jane, Marjorie Grace and Colin Donald (June Helen). Cherished grandfather of Kristen Angèle. Dear brother of Alex, Peggy Bond (Dick) and Irene "Jackie" FARBERMAN. Retired member of the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa (formerly Ottawa Teachers' College). Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Thursday, June 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 9th at 11: 30 a.m. Reception to follow at the McGarry Family Reception Centre. Passed away following a brief illness at the Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (FOOTE.) Dear father of Philip (Lorraine), Stella, and Marilyn (Bradley) NIGH. Cherished and forever to be remembered Papa of Jason and Amanda NIGH, and Joyce and Roy HOWSE. Great-grandfather of Adam and Kendal HOWSE. Brother of Rosetta EVANS and the late Lena OGDEN and Ivy HARDY. Resting at Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, (905) 852-3073 on Friday, March 3, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. Spring burial Stouffville Cemetery. Peacefully, on April 25, 2006 at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Una (BOOTH,) and brother of Bob OGDEN (Greta). Devoted father of Gail UPTON (Dennis KOCZKA) of Toronto, and Carol LLOYD (Eric) of Orillia. Beloved grandfather of Christina UPTON (Stephen TASSIE) of Toronto, Rebecca HEARNS (James) of Mississauga, Joshua WOLKOWSKI and Sarah LLOYD of Orillia. The late Mr. John OGDEN will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday morning, April 28th at 11 a.m. Interment St. Andrew's-Saint_James' Cemetery, Orillia. World War 2 British Merchant Navy Radio Operator, and employee of the British Marconi Company. Former proprietor of Budget Rent-a-Car Orillia and Barrie, and owner of Quilter's Woodwork. The family would like to acknowledge the support of Doctor PALLOPSON, Drs. LAM, POULOPOULOS and SRIHARSHA, the staff of Main and E2 Dialysis, and the nurses on Harvie IV and Soldiers I. We would also like to thank Diane RUYTER for all her help and support over the years. We strongly urge everyone to sign their organ donor cards in John's memory.
