Sister Marilyn died peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on
Saturday, March 25th, 2006, in the 46th year of her religious
life. She was the daughter of Joan
MERAW
(LANGEVIN) of Tweed
and the late Leo
MERAW.
Along with the members of her religious
community, she leaves to mourn her brothers Paul and his wife
Liz of Picton and Tony and his wife Gwen of Ardoch and her sisters

received her education in Tweed, Ontario, her B.A. from the University
of Western Ontario and her Masters of Ministry and Spirituality
from Regis College. She taught at Saint Anne's and St. Frances
de Sales in Peterborough, Saint Mary's in Cobourg, Wainwright,
Alberta, Vancouver and Bracebridge. Upon leaving teaching, Sister
Marilyn did pastoral ministry in Sheshatshit, Labrador and Native
Ministry in Espanola. She was parish administrator in West Bay,
Ontario for several years. Since 1994 Sister Marilyn was involved
with retreat ministry at Villa Saint_Joseph in Cobourg. Visitation
will be held at Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough, from 2-9 p.m.
on Tuesday, March 28th. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at Mount Saint_Joseph on Wednesday, March 29th, at 10: 30 a.m.
Cremation with Interment at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Arrangements
are with Comstock Funeral Directors.

Of Leamington, Ontario has died peacefully in her sleep in her
winter home in Florida of a heart condition just recently diagnosed.
She was born in Guelph, March 3, 1911 where her brother John
resides, and graduated from Mac Hall in 1932. With her husband
Neil, who predeceased her in 1984, she provided a loving, nuturing
and generous home for Ron, Karen and Jill and welcomed into their
