OLMSTEAD, June Christine (HARRON)
Peacefully with her family by her side at the University Hospital in London Saturday evening July 8, 2006. The former June HARRON of R.R.#1, Wiarton at the age of 70. Beloved wife of John OLMSTEAD. Loving mother of Ric and his wife Cathy of Hepworth and Rob and his wife Tracey of Brampton. Lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren; Tyler, Rene, Alexis, Jessica and Michael. Dear sister of Bud HARRON and his wife Marj of Owen Sound, Roberta BRENT of Wroxeter, Larry HARRON and his wife Carol of Brampton, Darlene HUMPHRIES and Gaye KAUFMAN both of Owen Sound. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret WHITE/WHYTE and her husband Phil of Owen Sound, Frank (Skip) OLMSTEAD and his wife Pat of Walkerton, Mary THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and her husband Elgin of London and Harold LEMON of Owen Sound. Predeceased by one sister Myrna LEMON. Friends may call at the Downs and son Funeral Home Hepworth Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 11: 00 a.m. with Father Steve LACROIX officiating. Interment Saint Mary's Cemetery, Hepworth following cremation. Memorial contributions to Saint Mary's Catholic Church would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. On Thursday, January 26, 2006, Norma Ilene CLEVE, late of Regina, formerly of London, Ontario, passed away at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Ethel ROBERTS; first husband Douglas OLMSTEAD in 1974; second husband Thomas CLEVE in 2002 brother Jack ROBERTS; Norma is survived by daughter Elva "Peggy" (Henry) YONER of Regina; grandchildren, Dean BARBER of Kelowna, British Columbia, Jeff (Leslie) BARBER of London, Ontario. Leeann BARBER of Regina, Allison (Kent) STYLES of Regina; great-grandchildren James, Julianne and Ethan STYLES of Regina; sister Shirley (John) NIXON of London, Ontario, Phyliss (Bill) FICKLING of London, Ontario. A visitation for family and Friends will be held on Monday, January 30, 2006 from 2: 00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, Ontario. RATCLIFFE, William " Burns"
At London Health Sciences Centre-University Hospital, on Monday, February 27, 2006, William "Burns" RATCLIFFE of London, Ontario, in his 89th year. Burns is the beloved husband of Anna (NEEDHAM,) his wife of 62 years, his children Bill (Dianne) RATCLIFFE of Toronto, Patty (Phil) LAPORTE of Zurich, Sheila (Richard) BYERS of Edmonton, Laura (Lauch) HARRISON of Hamilton, Helen (Gord) OLMSTEAD of London, Paul (Cathy) RATCLIFFE of Glencoe, his grandchildren Will and Emma RATCLIFFE, Jacqui (Brad) FORBES, Jody (Tanya) BEDARD, Michael (Gillian) and Matthew LAPORTE, Janice and Ian HARRISON, Craig OLMSTEAD, Jennifer RATCLIFFE (Ted THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON,) and Richard RATCLIFFE as well as great-grandchildren Logan, Ryan and Luke FORBES. He will also be missed by his brother Jim RATCLIFFE of Niagara Falls, and sister-in-law Dorothy RATCLIFFE of Exeter along with many nieces and nephews. Burns was predeceased by his brother Grant RATCLIFFE and sister-in-law Jane RATCLIFFE. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North. A private family memorial will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation-Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of your choice.

TILFORD, Gordon E.
Of Saint Thomas, on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, after a courgeous battle, surrounded by his loving family, in his 78th year. Dearly loved husband of Audrey (LOCKHART) TILFORD and the late Barbara (PROWSE) TILFORD. Loved father of Janice and her husband Gregory MORRIS of Saint Thomas, D. Craig TILFORD and his partner Sharon OLMSTEAD of Caledonia and William E. TILFORD and his wife Marion CUNNINGHAM of British Columbia and Glenys and her husband John ROSE of Massachusetts. Dear step-father of Aaron and his wife Kristi HENOP of Hamilton and Kimberley Ann HENOP and her fiancé Gary SWICK of Stoney Creek. Predeceased by a sister Elsie RIMMINGTON. Much loved grandfather of Ian, Collin, Duncan, Nyssa, Emily, Aiden and Brande. Great-grandfather of Collin. Gord was born in Woodstock on July 21, 1928, the son of the late Edward and Mabel (ROBERTSON) TILFORD. He owned and operated Ashton-Tilford Insurance. He was Past President of the Saint Thomas Golf and Country Club, a former member of the Saint Thomas Curling Club, Past President of the Saint Thomas Kiwanis Club (1972), Past Lieutenant Governor of E.C. and C. Kiwanis International. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Monday morning and then to Saint Mark's United Church where funeral service will be held at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow, with his ashes to be interred in Union Cemetery. Visitation Saturday from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Kiwanis Foundation or to the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation.

LADD, Edith " Mollie" (née MacKAY)
Of Orillia, formerly of London, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and cheerful memories to her last moments, on Saturday September 16, 2006 at Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital in her 94th year. Cherished wife of the late Harold "Larry" LADD. Loving and devoted mother of John LADD of Sacramento, California, Mary and Henry TE SLIGTE of Thedford, and Midge and Jack OLMSTEAD of Orillia. Proud Grandma to Sara, and Becky LADD, Amy MORLEY, Dwayne and Laura, Kristina (deceased,) and Darryl TE SLIGTE and Clare and Jenna OLMSTEAD. Granny to seven grandchildren and honourary Grandma to many. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta and spent many fond years in London, England during the Blitz. Mollie finally settled in London, Ontario in 1948. A world traveller, social butterfly and loved by all she met. She was devoted to family and dedicated to the Church of Saint Andrew Memorial and many special groups such as, Home and School Association and Duchess of Kent Legion. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9 p.m. on Monday September 18, 2006 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A private family service to be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2006. A memorial service to be held at a later date at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Orillia.
