Born April 20th, 1044. On April 23rd, 2006, at Vancouver General
Hospital, Gord was released from his heroic and prolonged battle
with polycystic disease. Beloved husband of forty years and best
friend of Lois (née
REID.)

of Port Conquitlam. Cherished brother of Diane (Brian)

of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents Helen
(RAYMER) and Morrison
McCRADY.
Grampa will be sadly missed by Arian, Briana, Tristen,
Erica and Kelsey. Gord is also survived by his aunt Donna Jeanne
ANDREWS of London, Ontario, his aunt and uncle Pat and Alister
McCRADY of Surrey, British Columbia, brother-in-law Bob (Shirley)
REID of London, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. An avid
pilot, boater, ham radio operator VE7
PNP and music-lover, Gord
combined his life's work with his love of travel when he and
Lois established Ship-Rad Services, installing and maintaining
medical imaging systems on cruise ships. His unfailing humour,
courage and zest for life will continue to inspire us. He will
be fondly remembered by his many Friends, business associates,
members of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron (Maitland District)
and the Maple Ridge Amateur Radio Club. A celebration of Gord's
life will be held Monday, May 8th, 2006, at 2: 00 p.m., at Trinity
United Church, 2211 Prairie Avenue, Port Coquitlam. The family
kindly request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to
the Kidney Foundation of Canada, at www.kidney.ca or the British
Columbia Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. Arrangements
