YULE, Lois Eleanor
Peacefully at Hillside Manor, Stratford, on September 26, 2006, Lois Eleanor YULE, formerly of Fullarton Twp. in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilson V. YULE (1980.) Dear mother of William and Willemtje YULE of Lucan, Walter YULE of Saint Marys, Lawrence YULE of Hillside Manor Stratford and Dorothy CHAPPEL of Exeter. Cherished grandmother of Christopher YULE, Stephen YULE, Darryl and Dawn CHAPPEL, Juanita CHAPPEL and fiancé William RYAN. Dear sister of Gordon PRANCE of Exeter. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son-in-law Wayne CHAPPEL (2003,) her parents John and Mary PRANCE, brother Harold and wife Minerva PRANCE, sister Olive and husband Mervin PYM, sister Audrey and husband Clifton MOORE, brother Clarence and wife Elsie PRANCE and sister-in-law Doreen PRANCE. Also predeceased by Wilson's parents William and Margaret YULE, sister-in-law Annabelle and husband Arthur BRAGG, sister-in-law Alexina and husband Hugh HAZLEWOOD, brothers-in-law Colin, Calvin, sister-in-law Margaret and husband Lisle STEVENSON, brother-in-law Herbert and wife Francis, sisters-in-law Marion, Jessie, Helen, Marjorie and husband Alex ENRIGHT. Family and Friends will be received at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. South, Saint Marys (519-284-2820) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, September 29, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. HAYES, Joyce Madeline Ellen (née SMITH)
Of Spruce Lodge, Stratford and formerly of Mitchell and London passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, November 15, 2006, in her 75th year. Born in Essex, England, she was the daughter of the late William and Lottie (BASSETT) SMITH. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Charles HAYES whom she married at Essex, England on December 26th, 1951. Dear mother of Victor SMITH of Lambeth and Irene SCHUBERT and husband Heinz of Sauble Beach. Cherished grandmother of Janine, Jeffrey and Bradley SMITH of Lambeth, Robin SCHUBERT and wife Pauline of Woodstock and Malinda COLLINS and husband Marty of Owen Sound. Dear sister of Peter SMITH, Bill SMITH both of London, Len SMITH and wife May and Sheila PYM and husband Reg all of Essex, England. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Maureen SMITH. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and Friends may call at the Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford on Friday, November 17, 2006 from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Rev. HASTINGS, Gerald Leslie " Gerry"
Died peacefully on June 26th, 2006, of complications following a motorcycle accident three weeks ago. He leaves his wife and fellow adventurer, Joan WILSON, and their children Claire and Timothy (Kelowna), his brother Douglas and his children Jason and Tara (Nanaimo,) his special cousin Gwen PYM (Clearbrook) and Joan's family Robert (Duncan), Patrick and Emily (Victoria), and Cindy, Tyler and Cameron (Campbell River) and many, many Friends and associates. Recently retired, Gerry was a 30+ year veteran of the British Columbia health care community working in Vancouver, New Westminster, Victoria, Kelowna and, latterly, for the Interior Health Authority. A former naval officer, Gerry was a classic motorcycle enthusiast and travelled the world following that passion. His moustached and sunglassed face was a familiar sight behind the wheel of his beloved MGB during the summer and he was a regular at Telemark Cross Country Ski Club in the winter months. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, 2 July at 2 p.m. at The Cathedral Church of Saint Michael and All Angels, 608 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, British Columbia. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Stephen Lewis Foundation (www.stephenlewisfoundation.org) in Gerry's name.

Peacefully on January 22, 2006 at London Health Sciences Centre-Westminster Campus, Mary Elizabeth TAILOR/TAYLOR in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husbands Alec TAILOR/TAYLOR and Arnold BAYNHAM. Dearly loved by her children Karen (Ron) HYLAND, Tom BAYNHAM and daughter-in-law Bonnie BAYNHAM. Lovingly remembered by 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Lexie and Harry WANAMAKER and her sisters Grace LONGCHAMPS, Jessie PYMAN and brother-in-law Art PYMAN. Dear sister to Roy (Carol) WANAMAKER, Joan (Bob) STEWARD/STEWART/STUART, Jim (Marg) WANAMAKER, Carol (Wayne) WRIGHT and Roger LONGCHAMPS. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and Friends. PAUL, Betty J. (née BROOKS)
71 of Machesney Park, died on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born on May 7, 1934 in London, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Clarence and Ona (PYMAN) BROOKS. On June 28, 1952, she married her loving husband John Paul. Betty enjoyed playing bingo twice a week and spending time with her family. Survivors include her children Terry (June), Larry, Steven (Bonney) and Victoria (Phillip) CUNITZ; grandchildren Carolyn, Mike, Michelle, Jacob, Ona, Nicole, Nathan and Jacob CUNITZ; one great grandchild brothers Bob, Clare and Dave BROOKS; sister Joan GREENSIDE and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John on October 16, 2004. All services will be held privately in Canada.
