RABAEY,
Dorothy "
Dot"
The family of the late Dorothy (Dot)
RABAEY would like to express
its sincere gratitude to all of those who visited, prayed, sent
flowers and donations, and helped out around the time of her
passing. A special thanks to Murphy's Funeral Home for the funeral
arrangements and all of their support during this difficult time,
and to pallbearers Kyle
SMITH, Ron
WAKEM, Jim
PIETERS, Mike
CLARKE,
Brian PYNAERT, and Allen
WAKEM. To Father Alan
DUFRAIMONT, thank
you for the beautiful service and moving Homily, and thanks to
the Alter servers and to the choir and organist for the beautiful
songs and music. A sincere thank you to niece Nancy
PYNAERT,
who read the farewell letter to Dot that was written by Dottie's
special friend Sharon
TURNER.
Special thanks as well to Connie
PYNAERT for doing the readings. Thank you to the Delhi Catholic
Women's League for the wonderful reception and especially for
putting it together on such short notice. To all the Friends
and family who attended the funeral, thank you so much. Your
support was very comforting and heart warming and helped tremendously
during this time of grief. To special friend Sharon
TURNER, thank
you for being there for Dot and for me during and after Dot's
passing. You are a true friend, and Dot and I have been lucky
to have you, and thank God for that blessing. Thank you to Dot's
Godmother, Theresa
DUNLOP whom she dearly loved, and
to Theresa's
husband Jack for all your support and many e-mails. Your kindness
has been a great comfort to me, and has helped to lessen the
burden of grief. To the staff of Windsor Court I thank you for
all the kindness you showed me and Dot during the last several
months, and for all the thoughtful gestures and wonderful care
during that time. A special thank you to Marilyn, Teena, Doreen
and Naomi for your love and support during the time of Dot's
passing and
to Marcel and Paul for helping me through the hours
following. To every one of our Friends and neighbors who blessed
us with gifts in the form of comforting words, prayers, cards,
donations, food, and other acts of compassion, I sincerely thank
you. You will all remain in my heart and in my prayers forever,
and I offer my love and heartfelt gratitude. Dot's passing has
left me with a void that will never be filled, but she wanted
me to go on with my projects and find comfort in our many fond
memories. I thank God for giving me an angel in Dottie, with
whom I shared many years of love and happiness. I have been very
fortunate to spend my life with her, she was one of a kind and
I miss her deeply. Cam
