TEGART, Kathleen Florence (FURLONGER)
Peacefully at Country Terrace Nursing Home, Komoka on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, in her 93rd year. Born in London, England, she emigrated to Canada in 1919. She was predeceased by her husband James Stanley TEGART (1945,) her son James Gulliver TEGART (1971,) three sisters, Margaret RYLANCE, Ellen SCHRAM, and Winnifred ARTISS and brothers, William FURLONGER, Clifford, Jack and Stanley SCHRAM. She is survived by a daughter, Jean WILLADSEN and a granddaughter, Kirsten LASKEY as well as nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the caring staff of Waverley Mansion, University Hospital and Country Terrace. Your efforts are much appreciated. Friends and relatives may call during the hour preceding the funeral service which will be conducted at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 Saint_James Street at Richmond on Saturday, October 21 at 2: 00 p.m. Cremation with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the London Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged.

RYLAND, Ivan Wray
Of Saint Thomas, on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at his late residence, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Annabelle "Ann" RYLAND and dearly loved father of Douglas RYLAND of Saint Thomas, Nancy and her husband Paul CALDWELL of Port Stanley, Linda and her husband Gary STAFFORD of Saint Thomas, Judy HEIL of Saint Thomas, Rosemary and her husband George McKENZIE and Kathleen and her husband Russ WEITZEL, all of British Columbia and Barbara RYLAND of St. Thomas. Dear brother of Marie McQUEEN of Sarnia, Shirley WILSON of Saint Thomas and Sheila and her husband David HILL of Windsor. Predeceased by a sister June RYLAND and brother Ronald RYLAND. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Ivan worked at Erie Iron and also painted for Ron Cox Painting. He was born in Ilderton on July 26, 1928, the son of the late George and Clarene (FORD) RYLAND. He resided in Saint Thomas most of his life. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1: 30 p.m. Interment in Union Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.

RYLANDS, Amy Bernice (née JOHNSON)
Of Extendicare, Port Stanley and formerly of R.R.#7 Saint Thomas on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 96th year. Loving wife of the late Kenneth RYLANDS (1996) and dearly loved aunt of Lois ARNOLD and her husband Doctor John ARNOLD of Scottsdale, Arizona. Loved great aunt of David ARNOLD, Christina ARNOLD and Whitney DILLER. She was born in Otterville, Ontario on March 17, 1910. Daughter of the late Elston and Alice (REAVELY) JOHNSON. Predeceased by two brothers H. Ross JOHNSON (1962) and Doctor Carson JOHNSON (1976.) Amy spent her life in Aylmer and Saint Thomas. She was a former telephone operator in Aylmer and then worked with her husband Kenneth in Rylands Flower Shop and then Clinton's Flower Shop for a number of years before retiring. She was a member of the Maple Leaf Chapter #3 O.E.S., Sisters of Unity Lodge #509. Former Chartered member of the Sweet Adelines, former member of the Saint Thomas Kinette Club. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment to follow at Saint Thomas Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Arthritis Society. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Amy.
