VRBAN, Josephine
Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, on March 29, 2006 at the age of 91. She will be sadly missed by her sister Anna SEBANC, niece Ann MERVAR, great-nephews Greg and Danny and great-niece Lilli. A special thank you to the staff at Dom Lipa for all their care. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th Street, 416-259-3705), on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Age 82, formerly of Stratford, and Grand Bend passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor, R.R.#5, Stratford on Wednesday July 19, 2006 Born in Ellice Township, daughter of the late George McCANN and the former Laura McDONNELL. Predeceased by her first husband Harold V. AGAR (1968) and second husband Ivan MALOVIC (2001.) Cherished mother of Harold (Bud) AGAR (Marion,) Stratford, Janice GRAVELLE (Mike), Stratford, and Larry AGAR (Helene) Sarnia. Predeceased by a son, Robert (Verne), also brothers Fergus, Stanley, Leo, Frank, Gerald, Basil, and sister Irene. Also predeceased by brothers-in-law Cecil AGAR, Andy CAMPBELL, Walter CORNISH, Joseph DUNSMORE and sisters-in-law Olive McCANN, Eileen McCANN, Verla CORNISH and Lois CAMPBELL. Survived by sister, Helen DUNSMORE, Stratford. Grandchildren Julie BOEMER (Joe), Jodie AGAR (Robert MITCHELL), Jessica DEWYS (Steve) and Michael AGAR, Kathleen AGAR, Jonathon AGAR. Brad GRAVELLE (Vicki FOSTER), and Carrie GRAVELLE (Mike SEBBEN), Stratford. Lisa AGAR (Wayne CAUDLE), Christine AGAR and Danielle AGAR, Sarnia. Sisters-in-law Lillian SPENDIFF, Lucille McCANN, Doris AGAR, Stratford. Ruby McCANN, Donna McCANN, Sarnia, Brother and sister-in-law Les and Arley LEE, London. She was a special G.G. to several Great-Grandchildren and survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, Ontario, N5A 5T7 on Friday July 21st from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. Rev. Fr. Peter KELLER will officiate. SEBBEN, Isacco
It is with deep sadness that the family of Isacco announces his passing on January 14, 2006, at the age of 79. These past months he exuded an undeterminable amount of courage, strength and strong iron will and succeeded to defy all odds. He lived life on his own terms right to the end. Devoted and beloved husband of Celina. Dear and loving father of Alida, Alex and wife Rachel, and proud and treasured grandfather of Stephen, Victoria and Patrick. He will be remembered fondly and sadly missed by his sisters Ida and Savina, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, his many nieces and nephews and all his Friends. A special thank you to all the doctors, nursing staff and physio teams at Sunnybrook Hospital, North York General Hospital, Providence Health Care Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Born in Fonzaso, Italy. Passed away peacefully, on April 22, 2006, surrounded by her family, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Vittorino. Angela will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Maria TORRESAN (Oddo) and her son Victor SEBBEN (Nancy). Beloved Nonna of Sonya FERRARI (Danny), Paul TORRESAN (Daniela,) Tanya SEBBEN (Kevin.) Predeceased by her grand_son Marcel SEBBEN. Cherished great-grandmother of Nicole and Luca FERRARI. After a short illness, on Monday, February 13, 2006, Mary Elizabeth VEGSO (SEBESTYEN) of R.R.#3 Strathroy in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Frank VEGSO. Treasured mother of Robert and Mary VEGSO, Gary and Cathy VEGSO, David and Kimberley VEGSO, Mark and Susan VEGSO, all of Strathroy and Randy and Beth VEGSO of London. Loving Nana of 8 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Frank SEBESTYEN of Belle River. Mary was born in Hungary and moved to Canada at the age of six. Friends will be received at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday, February 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Wednesday at 6: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Thursday, February 16 at 11 a.m. with Father John SHARP officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Mary.
