Peacefully at home, after a hard fought battle with cancer, on
Tuesday,
January 31, 2006, G.D. (Shyam)
NADKARNI, beloved husband
of Meena, proud and loving father and father-in-law of Lavita
and Michael of Denver, Colorado. and Neil and Natasha of Columbia,
South Carolina. Much loved "Aba" of Kaeya, Griffin and Maya.
A man of deep faith, lover of golf, history, travel, world affairs,
and a gourmet cook, Shyam lived a full life and was actively
involved in many charitable and social organizations around Toronto
and Mississauga. Visitation for Friends at the G. H Hogle Funeral
Homes "Mimico Chapel", Etobicoke (416-251-7531) on Thursday,
February 2nd between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service at
11 a.m. on Friday, February 3rd at the same location, followed
by cremation after Hindu rites at Saint John's Dixie Crematorium,
737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga. Grateful thanks from the family
