Passed away peacefully early Friday morning, December 1, 2006,
at her home with loving family by her side. Loving mother of
David, devoted wife to John. Cherished sister and sister-in-law
of Kevin and Sally, Gary and Marianne, and Brian and Moira. Maureen
taught by golden example with lessons that won't soon be forgotten.
Heartfelt thanks to all members of Team Maureen for their unwavering
support through this difficult time. So many did she help, so

In the early morning hours of September 8, 2006 at the Saint Thomas
Elgin General Hospital another great man slipped away. In his
73rd year after a brief battle with cancer Ron passed away peacefully
surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of 46 years of

Sherri, and Darryl (Tracy). Much loved grandfather of Keenan
and Christian. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Dear brother-in-law of Marvin and Margaret
BERRY of Port Stanley
and Ted SUCKLEY of Saint Thomas. He was predeceased by his parents

SMITH and a sister Ruth. Ron was born
in Saint Thomas and lived most of his life in Port Stanley. He
retired from the village of Port Stanley Works Department after
15 years of service. Previously Ron worked at a variety of jobs,
ran his own business and built a family home. Ron was a former
member of the Port Stanley Lions Club, a founding executive member
of the Port Stanley Jr. D hockey team, a member of the PSGA
and a stand up goalie for the Port Stanley Cardiac Hockey League.
He always enjoyed the company of Friends, family dinners, camping,
golf and good music. A trailer in Port Glasgow has brought much
happiness over the past two years. Interment is on the south
slope of Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the
Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
