She returned to Ottawa in 1948 and later worked at the National Gallery of Canada. Peggy was a amazing person she always remained a beautiful and stylish woman with panache yet with no pretensions. In her last 40 years she held court in her little houses in London England, aboard the Yacht Pellee and later in centre-town Ottawa. Over her long life, she loved her animals, Sam, Tux, Tibor, Pico and her pussy cats. Like everybody else, Peggy's life had its ups and downs and she dealt with each obstacle with her philosophy of 'Oh Poof' and went on her way with dignity and decorum. Within her sphere, life was never dull!! We remember the good times and we will miss her.
