WOLYNETZ, Jean
84, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt and dear friend, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2006 at home, surrounded by the love and support of her family and Friends, following a courageous and dignified battle with cancer. She was born on November 29, 1921 to John and Mary SHATZ (SZEC) in Toronto, Ontario. She was preceded by her husband John in 1996 and her son John in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Linda, granddaughter Tasha, and son-in-law Bernie. Jean will be remembered as a strong, sensitive and compassionate woman. She was a special person to all who had the pleasure of her Friendship and will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. The family will receive Friends at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre, 8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2006. A celebration of Jean's life will be held on Thursday, March 16 at 11 a.m. at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave. (corner of Martingrove and Bainbridge), Woodbridge. A special thanks to Doctor J. Wendy D'ANDREA, Brenda her private nurse, and the Palliative Care Network for their caring, support and devotion. In lieu of flowers, it was Jean's expressed wish that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, February 7, 2006. Anna, beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of Magdalena and her husband Joseph SZECSEI; Clara and her husband Alex BECZ; Eve and her husband Richard RIOUX. "Nagy Mamus" (grandmother) will be lovingly remembered by Judy (Willie), Darlene (Joe), Alex Jr., Clara (Paul), Christopher (Alexandra), Andy (Ryan), and Erika. Great-grandmother of Karmen, Andrea, Lauren, Hillary, Maxwell, Winston, Cassondra, Cameron, Kelsey, and predeceased by her granddaughter Maggie. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful nurses and staff at Elginwood Long Term Care Facility who took such good care of our dear Anna. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her three children on Thanksgiving Monday, October 9, 2006 in her 86th year. Many, many thanks to the Community Care Access Centre palliative care team, especially to all the extremely competent and caring R.N.s, R.P.N.s and P.S.W.s. Also sincere thanks to Doctor Aaron BARNETT. Dearly loved wife for 59 years of the late Robert Hartford PLUNKETT. Loving mother of Marion PLUNKETT of Toronto and Coldwater, Robert PLUNKETT of Toronto and Pamela and her husband Peter SZEGVARY of Barrie. Beloved grandmother of Monica and Michael. Predeceased by brothers Edward and Herbert. Survived by sisters-in-law, Gerry GRIFFIN of Ottawa, Gaye IRWIN of Oakville, and Audrey GRIFFIN of Elmira, Ontario. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Born in Coldwater, Ontario, Mom was matriarch, chatelaine, domestic engineer, performer, philosopher, and most of all, friend. In Mom's 34 years as an alto with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir as well as a lifetime with several first-rate church choirs, she saw the world and performed music at the highest level. SZENTKUTI, Doctor Julius Vencel
Dr. Julius Vencel SZENTKUTI, born in Estergom, Hungary, on February 28, 1909, died May 8, 2006, after a long illness. son of Maria and Ferenc SZENTKUTI, brother of Ferenc and Miklos SZENTKUTI, and survived by three daughters of Miklos -- Andrea, Kristina and Judith. Doctor of Law from Budapest University, practiced law in Hungary (Legal Advisor to Count Cziraky and family) until 1945 when Hungary was invaded by the Russians. Julius emigrated to Germany where he worked for several years before emigrating to Australia and then to Canada in 1956. Achieved a Bachelor of Social Work at University of Toronto while employed by the Catholic Children's Aid Society in Toronto where he was highly respected by his many colleagues. Julius is also survived by his devoted life partner, Donalda, with whom he shared his life and home through many years. He will be dearly missed by Donalda and by his nephew Meredith USHER, whom he befriended from age 3. He will also be deeply missed by his Canadian Hungarian Friends. Funeral will be held at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1290 McBride Avenue, Mississauga (Credit Woodlands and McBride), 905-279-5742. Viewing at the Church 11 to 12; Mass 12 to 1. Service will be followed by a reception at Julius and Donalda's home, 2 blocks south at 3190 O'Hagan Drive. Everyone welcome. He was also a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America Simcoe Chapter and the former Tune Tillers Quartet and Three Farmers and Jake Quartet.
