Jean
84, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt
and dear friend, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2006 at
home, surrounded by the love and support of her family and Friends,
following a courageous and dignified battle with cancer. She
was born on November 29, 1921 to John and Mary
SHATZ
(SZEC) in
Toronto, Ontario. She was preceded by her husband John in 1996 and
her son John in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Linda,
granddaughter Tasha, and son-in-law Bernie. Jean will be remembered
as a strong, sensitive and compassionate woman. She was a special
person to all who had the pleasure of her Friendship and will
be missed by everyone whose life she touched. The family will
receive Friends at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre, 8003 Weston
Road, Woodbridge, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15,
2006. A celebration of Jean's life will be held on Thursday,
March 16 at 11 a.m. at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 100 Bainbridge
Ave. (corner of Martingrove and Bainbridge), Woodbridge. A special

performer, philosopher, and most of all, friend. In Mom's 34 years
as an alto with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir as well as a lifetime
with several first-rate church choirs, she saw the world and
performed music at the highest level. Family and Friends will

SZENTKUTI, born in Estergom, Hungary, on February 28,
1909, died May 8, 2006, after a long illness.
son of Maria and
Ferenc SZENTKUTI, brother of Ferenc and Miklos
SZENTKUTI, and
survived by three daughters of Miklos -- Andrea, Kristina and
Judith. Doctor of Law from Budapest University, practiced law
in Hungary (Legal Advisor to Count Cziraky and family) until
1945 when Hungary was invaded by the Russians. Julius emigrated
to Germany where he worked for several years before emigrating
to Australia and then to Canada in 1956. Achieved a Bachelor
of Social Work at University of Toronto while employed by the
Catholic Children's Aid Society in Toronto where he was highly
respected by his many colleagues. Julius is also survived by
his devoted life partner, Donalda, with whom he shared his life
and home through many years. He will be dearly missed by Donalda
and by his nephew Meredith

3. He will also be deeply missed by his Canadian Hungarian Friends.
Funeral will be held at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church,
1290 McBride Avenue, Mississauga (Credit Woodlands and McBride),
905-279-5742. Viewing at the Church 11 to 12; Mass 12 to 1. Service
will be followed by a reception at Julius and Donalda's home,
2 blocks south at 3190 O'Hagan Drive. Everyone welcome. Donations

in America Simcoe Chapter and the former Tune Tillers Quartet
and Three Farmers and Jake Quartet. The family will receive Friends
