COBEY (1991.) Don had been
a barber for 16 years in Chatham and an employee of Chatham Coach
Lines for 25 years. Don will be forever remembered as a compassionate,
caring, kidding gentleman by not only his family but by numerous
relations and Friends. The family will receive Friends and relatives
Thursday March 2, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bowman Funeral
Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham, (519-352-2390). Parish prayers
will take place Thursday evening at the funeral home. The Mass
of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday March 3, 2006 at
11: 00 a.m. from Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment to follow
in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed
to the Community Care Access Centre, Geranium House or the Red

World War II Veteran Officer Brother of the Order of Saint John
Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2006 at Huronia
District Hospital, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Gwynneth
YUILL.
Loving father of daughter Donna and her husband Rick
TKACHUK,
and son Robert and his wife Joy. Adored Popa of Nikolaus. Don
enlisted with the U.S. Marines and later the Royal Canadian Navy
Volunteer Reserve, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
After the war, Don started work at Bell Canada where he remained
for all of his working life. In 1949 Don became a First Aid Instructor
and went on to serve in the Saint John Ambulance Brigade in Halton/Peel
and remained actively involved in various council in Midland/Penetang
until the end. In the 60's Don became heavily involved in car
racing, joining Canadian Race Communication Association, eventually
becoming Director of Ambulance and Rescue. Don's first love was
Boy Scouts, where he was cub and scout master in Toronto and
later served on councils in the Georgian Bay region. In recent
years Don has been active in the various rock collecting groups,
the Royal Canadian Regiment-Penetang and the Askinonia Senior
Centre. Don enjoyed playing Santa for the Ontario Society for
the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Pet Pics with Santa every
year. Don's family would like to thank Dr.
