On Saturday, December 31, 2005 in her 72nd year. Oma has left us to be with her loving husband Neff, and her precious daughter Barbara. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Susan, son-in-law Matt, 2 grandchildren, Kayle and Jim, and her brother George WINKLER. The family would like to thank her many Friends for their support and love through Dorothea's long illness. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin on Saturday at 10: 00 a.m. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society can be arranged through J.J. Patterson and Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland, or online memories and condolences at www.jjpatterson.ca. As a memorial tribute, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. Suddenly at his residence, on Saturday, May 20, 2006, Josip TULJAK in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Stella (MAZZEO) TULJAK. Dear father of Tony TULJAK (Angelique), Michele "Mike", Caterina GRIFFIN (Dan) and Rocco TULJAK all of London. Loving grandfather of Nicholas, Bradley, Erika, Joey and Melinda. Also survived by two brothers and two sisters, several nieces and nephews, all in Europe. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2: 00-4:00 p.m. and 7: 00-9:00 p.m. at the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street. BEMISTER, Marie
Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 in her 61st year, with family by her side at Scarborough General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Formerly of Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland, Marie was predeceased by her father Simeon BEMISTER, her mother Pearl Bemister TULK, sister Florence HAYWARD, brother-in-law Boyd HAYWARD and sister-in-law Irene BEMISTER. Leaving to mourn with precious memories are her loving husband Aubrey and 5 children: Tony (Barb) of Toronto, Ford of Toronto, Rocky (Judy) of St. John's, Newfoundland, Lee of Toronto and Jenny of England. Also lovingly remembered by her seven brothers: Elmore BEMISTER of Musgrave Harbour, Ronald BEMISTER (Emily) of Musgrave Harbour, Eldon BEMISTER (Hazel) of Musgrave Harbour, Wilbert BEMISTER (Jill) of Musgrave Harbour, Clarence BEMISTER (Dulcie) of Stratford, Ontario, Terry BEMISTER (Carol) of Saint John's and Aubrey BEMISTER of Saint John's; her four sisters: Maisie HAMMOND (Richard) of Mt. Pearl, Beulah METIZ (Mark) of Alberta, Maunda SKINNER (Dave) of Carmanville and Goldie BAIRD of Saint John's. Peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer, on March 22, 2006, in her 67th year. Beloved wife of Augustino (Mitch) MARINI. Loving mother to Darlene, Marie and Cindy. She will be treasured in the hearts of her grandchildren Jason, Kyle, Andrew, Peter, Danny, and Christina, as well as in the hearts of her siblings Henry, Rita, Pauline, and Norman. TULLIO, Nicola Anne (March 20, 2004-September 24, 2006)
Beloved daughter of Judi HAIG- TULLIO and Carmine TULLIO slipped quietly away, surrounded by her family, after a courageous eight month battle with Aplastic Anaemia. Nicola had a brilliant, cheerful and loving spirit. She touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by her parents, her two sisters Paige and Christine, and all four grandparents, Rina and Antonio TULLIO and Mary and Robert HAIG. Remembering her fondly will be the families of Carmine's brothers and Judi's sisters - Paul and Susan TULLIO, Tony and Tania TULLIO, Marnie and Yves PARADIS, Pamela and Bill BARTLEY, and Barbara HAIG. Nicola loved spending time with her 8 cousins, Ariana, Matteo, and Luca TULLIO, Ella and Anthony TULLIO, Daniel and Katie PARADIS and Alexander BARTLEY. Family and Friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home, Markham Chapel (northeast corner of Hwy 404 and 16th Avenue) 905 887-8600 on Thursday, September 28th from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 24 Cheritan Avenue (Yonge Street south of Lawrence Avenue) on Saturday, September 30th at 9: 15 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Born in Chatham, son of the late Raymond and Myrtle (PORTER) BALASIN. Larry had worked at Metaldyne in Thamesville for 40 years. Beloved husband of Muriel (TULLOCH) BLAKE. Loving father and father-in-law of Michael and Melanie BALASIN of Strathroy, Diane and Gary SSAINTERRE of Chatham, Tracy and Gary KEIRSEBILCK of Dresden, Lance and Lee Anne BLAKE of Wallaceburg. Sadly missed by 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Mildred McKIBBIN of Port Lambton, Clifford WORKMAN of Sombra and Bessie WORKMAN of Sarnia. ZINK, James Bernard " Dutchy"
After an inspiring 25 year battle with diabetes our family sadly announces the loss of our wonderful father James Bernard "Dutchy" ZINK on December 27, 2006. Born August 13, 1931 he lived a full life with ten siblings near the shores of his much loved St. Clair River in Corunna. son of the late Hazel and Capt. Bernard ZINK. He spent his early working life with his father sailing the Great Lakes and retired as the owner of Marcy Printing Co. He loved his community and quietly contributed to the needs of as many as he could. He leaves behind his daughters Tracy, her husband Ken, Sandy, her husband Pic, sons Kelly and Andy. "Papa Jim" entertained and treasured his grandchildren Dane and Jade NICOLSON and Keegan and Griffin TULLOCH. He is survived by his siblings Dorothy, Patricia, Connie, John and several nieces and nephews. He joins his bride Jacqueline LATOUR in heaven after twelve years on his own. His family, Friends (especially Donna, Eli, Joe and Lois) and neighoburs will miss his antics, sense of adventure and his daily need to make everyone laugh. In keeping with his giving philosophy he has bequeathed his remains to the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario. A Mass of Celebration will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Saint_Joseph's Catholic Church, Corunna. He has finally slid into homeplate…. scraped, bruised and a bit battered but with a great big grin… just the way he wanted. Devoted father of Peter FONT and his wife Pamela of London, Diane STAINES and her husband Chris of Kilworth. Treasured grandpa of John, Jenny and Alex. Dear brother of Marilyn TULLY and her husband Pat of Petrolia. Cherished brother-in-law of Mary FONT of Sarnia. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Harold was a World War 2 Veteran with the 418 Squadron. It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Lenore TULLY (BRISBOIS) on January 6, 2006, at the age of 83. Lenore was predeceased by her husband, William John and a dear mother to Bill (Jane), Sandy (Ernie) and Mark (Gail). She was very proud of her 7 (plus!) grandchildren: Shannon (Brad), Bill (Colleen), Annie, Stephen and James, Terri Ann (John) and Mark Jr. Her three great-grandchildren, William, Miranda and Brandon, brought sparkle to her life and completed her strong sense of family. Lenore shared a special bond with her sisters-in-law whose sense of fun was one of her great delights.
