Campus on Thursday, March 2, 2006. Born in Howard Township 90
years ago to her parents the late Neta
(KIVELL) and George
OSBORNE.
Bernice is predeceased by her first husband George
HOFFMAN (1973)
and by her second husband Earl
McLARTY in 1999. Surviving are
a daughter Hazel
TYSICK and her husband Wayne of Toronto and
sons Ross HOFFMAN and his wife
Eleanor of Blenheim, Fred
HOFFMAN
and his wife
Violet of Ridgetown, Gary
HOFFMAN and his wife Pat
of Blenheim, Murray
HOFFMAN and his wife
Karen of Blenheim and
Max and his wife Theresa of Springfield. Also surviving is a
step-son Ken
McLARTY and his wife
Sue of Ridgetown, along with
14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Bernice is survived
by her sisters Lena
PICKERING and her husband Gord of Northwood,
Mildred KIVELL of Chatham, Margaret
SCAMAN of Blenheim and Katheline
HUITING and her husband Bert of Tilbury, also a brother Harold
OSBORNE and his wife JoAnne of Ridgetown. Also surviving are
sisters-in-law Beatrice
OSBORNE of Florence and Jean
OSBORNE
of Toronto. Bernice is predeceased by a daughter-in-law Susan
HOFFMAN, a sister Hazel
PRICE and her husband Ken, a brother
Charles and his wife Margaret and by brothers Gordon and Roy
OSBORNE.
The family would like to invite Friends for visitation
at the funeral home, 60 Stanley Street, Blenheim on Friday, March
2, 2006 from 2: 00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service
will be conducted from the funeral home by Reverend Ken
POWELL of
Glad Tidings Community Church on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 1: 30
p.m. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Friends
wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Bernice, are
asked to consider either the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian
Cancer Society. Donations can be arranged by either visiting

McLARTY wish to express sincere
thanks to Friends, neighbours, and relatives for their support
during the loss of our mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.
The many acts of kindness, including floral tributes, cards,
phone calls, charitable donations, food and visits to the funeral
and funeral home were greatly appreciated. Thank you Pastor Ken
POWELL, for the special service. Thanks also to James
SANSON
and Mark ESKRITT and staff of the Blenheim Community Funeral
Home for their kindness. Thank you to the people of the Glad
Tidings Community Church for the luncheon served after the funeral.
Special thanks to the pallbearers who carefully carried Berniece
to her final resting place. The kindness and thoughtfulness of
everyone was very comforting and much appreciated and will not
