Violet OSBORNE, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Tuesday, January 31st, 2006. She was 61. Survived by husband Lorance OSBORNE, children Joan (Brent) BERE of Waterdown, Steven (Mary) ULCH of Kirkton, Lisa (Jeff) DENOTTER of Kirkton, step-son Larry (Cindy) OSBORNE of Tara, step-daughter Sandi (Tom) VANDERVOORT of Chesley, grandchildren Mitchell, Madison, Milton, Mallory, Josh, Jake, Jared, Joel, Jessica, Alicia, Brandon, Kerri and Elaine. Peacefully at Marian Villa, London on Monday January 2nd 2006, Josephine ULCH in her 97th year. Wife of the late John ULCH (1978.) Dear mother of Joan WUERCH (Harry) of London and a foster son Kenneth HEUSTON of Wisconsin. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Gordon (1964), her grand_son John and a great-granddaughter Sheri Lyn. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Faith Tabernacle, 1920 Huron Street, London on Saturday January 14th 2006 at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. David KELSEY officiating. Of North Bay, Owen Sound and Copper Cliff, in her 71st year, on Thursday April 13th 2006. Dearly beloved wife and life of Jack ADAM/ADAMS for 47 years. Cherished mother of Alan ADAM/ADAMS (Karen) of Callander and Wendy ADAM/ADAMS (Nairne) of Montreal. Loving grandmother of Christopher ADAM/ADAMS of Mississauga and Ashley ADAM/ADAMS of Ottawa. Lifelong special ‘sister' to Aileen ULDERSMA of Lively. Predeceased by her parents Mae and Bill BECKET of Copper Cliff, brother Bill (Barbara) of Lively, brother-in-law Stan ADAM/ADAMS (Mary) of Toronto, brother and sister-in-law Glen and Joyce ADAM/ADAMS of Sault Ste Marie. Dorothy is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and long time Friends. Family and Friends gathered to celebrate Dorothy's life at her son's home in Callander on Saturday April 15th. Cremation took place in North Bay and interment will be at the family plot in Dunks Bay Cemetery, Tobermory at a later date. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Hillside Funeral Services North Bay. Dorothy's family gives their heartfelt thanks to Doctor CLARK and all those who cared for Dorothy in her final days at North Bay General Hospital

After a brief illness at Saint Michael's Hospital in Toronto in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Doctor Maria ARSTIKAITIS, father of Jurate and Gintaras (Irene ARMSTRONG,) and senelis to Jonas, Kristina, and Simone. The youngest of fourteen children born to Matas and Katerina (née RASKAUSKAS) in Kauno Region, Lithuania. Graduated from the medical school at Heidelberg University and practiced physical medicine until his retirement in 1998. Gardening, Lithuania, books, and his grandchildren were his passions. Family and Friends will be received at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane subway, from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. (prayers at 8 p.m.) on Monday, April 24. A funeral mass to celebrate Juozas' life will be held at The Parish of the Resurrection Church, 1 Resurrection Rd., Toronto at 10: 00 a.m. on Tuesday April 25, 2006. Interment to follow at Anapilis (Saint_John's Lithuanian) Cemetery in Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Juozas' memory to The Parish of the Resurrection Church.

ULIAS, Norman Adam
Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener. Norman ULIAS, in his 75th year, was the beloved husband of Lily (née CHERRY) ULIAS for 56 years. He was the dear father of Rick and his wife Heather and Gary and his wife Maureen. Norman was the loving grandpa of Michael, Ryan, Robbie, Adam and Shannon. He was the dear brother of Will NEZNIK and his wife Sylvia. Predeceased by his son Larry (1954). A private family Celebration of Norman's Life has taken place. Cremation. Dear brother of Leona FRIESEN, Eleanor (Art) WILSON, Colin (Muriel) FRIESEN and Douglas (Doreen) FRIESEN. Predeceased by his parents Abram and Elisa FRIESEN, sister Luetta SHARPLEY and brothers Alfred and Gordon. Cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews, especially Bill SHARPLEY. Dear brother-in-law of John (Ruth) TOWNSHEND, Betty TOWNSHEND, Robert (Pat) TOWNSHEND, Betty (Bob) FOSTER, Barbara (Gordon) ULLERICK, Peggy UTTING and Nancy LOUGHEED. Predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Bishop William and Mrs. Kathleen TOWNSHEND and sister-in-law Eleanor MONTURE and brother-in-law Bill and Jim TOWNSHEND. Howard was a graduate in medicine from University of Western Ontario. He served in the medical corps for peaceful duties in Italy. Howard practiced in the field of psychiatry in Cleveland and in Woodstock. He retired from active practice in 1978. Deeply loved by her daughters, Judy DICKSON/DIXON (Paul), Carol ARNUP (deceased,) Katherine ARNUP and Jane ARNUP. Proud grandmother of Dana DICKSON/DIXON, Jennifer GRAY/GREY (Rob), Jesse Arnup BLONDIN (Denis) and Katie ARNUP. Pre-deceased by sister Barbara NIMNO and brother David ULRICHSEN. Deeply missed by dear friend and sister-in-law Ruth MATHIESON. Dora loved her cottage and listening to the loons.
