Suddenly and unexpectedly at her residence in London on Saturday, February 11, 2006, Mary Agnes (JARVIS) RESTORICK formerly of Sarnia in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Allen Thrower RESTORICK (1980.) Dear mother of Betty MULLER and her husband Robert of Dorchester and June THOMAS of Londesborough. Cherished grandmother of Carrie and Crystal MULLER, Brent and Joel THOMAS. Dear sister of Grant JARVIS and the late Jean of Corunna and Doris NEWMAN and the late Robert of Brigden. Also loved by many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-laws. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, February 13th, 2006, Francis Henry "Frank" PULHAM in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Reba Annie (MUIR) PULHAM (1976.) Dear father of Marilyn BROSH and her husband Dale of London. Dear grandfather of Jeffery and Rebecca of London. Predeceased by his brothers Eric and Donald and his sister Dorothy. Francis was a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Pharmacy class of 1942 and the proprietor of Pulham's Drug Store. Francis was also a Life Time Member of the Kiwanis Club of London. Joined United Church which stood for unity and liberty. Studied theology at Emmanuel College. Ordained 1953. Married classmate Mary Elizabeth MacVICAR, 1953 (ordained 1969.) Parents of Anna (Robert TUMCHEWICS, Yellowknife); Moira (Frank DUNN, Waterloo); the late Sylvia (1958-68) Lex, Ottawa (Sheila LINDSAY). "Grandad" of Alicia, Louise, John TUMCHEWICS; Laura, Mary Anne DUNN; Joshua, Cara CHAPMAN. Served Spirit River, Alberta (1953-6); Westboro, Ottawa (1956-7); North Gower (1957-68). Studied at Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis (1968-9). Served Wellburn Pastoral Charge (1969-77). Shared ministry Saint Paul's-Botany with Beth (1977-87) and The Rev. KERNOHAN, Robert Reginald
Family and Friends celebrate the life of Robert Reginald KERNOHAN who passed away on Sunday, May 7th, 2006 in his 79th year. Bob will be missed by his wife of 53 years, Mary (POSTE) and his family Robert and Elizabeth SMITH, Stuart and Eileen, Colleen and Gary JARDINE, Eric, Elizabeth and Brian STEELE. Poppa Bob was a proud grandfather of Menzies and Byron JARDINE, Taylor, Rob and Lindsay KERNOHAN, Webster and Paisley STEELE. Predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Gertrude (BRYDGES) KERNOHAN and his siblings Harold and Beatrice. Remembered by his sister-in-law Annette and his Kernohan nephews, Stephen (Joan), Michael (Denise) and Paul (Laura). Bob will also be missed by the entire Poste family. Bob owned and operated Kernohan's Lumberteria Home Hardware on Wellington Street South in London. Bob will be best remembered for crafting wooden cottage chairs, making sand castles at the beach in Port Franks, his determination, his sense of humour and his love of ice cream cones. He was a long time member of Calvary United Church contributing as an Elder, Chair of the Nursery School and a Trustee. His other interests included Probus Club, Castle Club, Director of the Grove Cemetery Board and he accompanied Mary to world wide events with the Garden Club of London. Visitation will be at Calvary United Church, 290 Ridout Street, South London on Thursday, May 11th from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. in the parlour. We will also celebrate Bob's successful life at Calvary United Church on Saturday May 13th. Dearly loved sister of Kevin and his wife, Alison. Treasured granddaughter of Kay BEGG. Beloved daughter-in-law of Cathy and Fred CAMERON. Loved and missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and her innumerable Friends. Carla was an honours graduate of Mountsfield Public School, South Secondary School, Queens University (Honours Science) and the Ontario College of Naturopathic Medicine. At Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, November 1, 2006. Ernest Edwin " Ted" BENDER of London, age 90 years. Beloved husband of Marion I. (KING) BENDER. Dear father of Richard BENDER and his wife Debra of Tecumseh. Also much loved by his grandchildren Amy LANE and her husband Zachary and Gregory BENDER and his fiancee Danielle GRAY/GREY all of Windsor. Ted owned and operated Bender Hardware for many years. He held the rank of Captain in the Royal Canadian Army and served in Europe during the Second World War. He was an avid reader of British Mystery Novels and he loved baseball. Parents of Anna (Robert TUMCHEWICS, Yellowknife); Moira (Frank DUNN, Waterloo); the late Sylvia (1958-68) Lex, Ottawa (Sheila LINDSAY). "Grandad" of Alicia, Louise, John TUMCHEWICS; Laura, Mary Anne DUNN; Joshua, Cara CHAPMAN. Served Spirit River, Alberta (1953-6); Westboro, Ottawa (1956-7); North Gower (1957-68). Studied at Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis (1968-9). Served Wellburn Pastoral Charge (1969-77). Shared ministry Saint Paul's-Botany with Beth (1977-87) and The Rev. Masaoki HOSHINO from Hachirogata, Japan (1985-88). Supply Robinson Memorial, London; intentional interim minister of Calvary Memorial, Kitchener and of Knox, Embro. Retired in London, 1990. VAN VEEN, Wilhelmina Petronella "Nelly" (née HOOLE)
Passed away peacefully at Toronto Grace Hospital on January 30, 2006 during prayer, in the Spirit of the Lord. Devoted and loving mother of Robert. Survived also by her siblings, An, Chris, Jan, and Elly, and many nieces and nephews throughout the Netherlands and Australia. Predeceased by her beloved husband Willem Jan, and siblings Marie, Wil, Tien, and Mien. Throughout her life and illness, her irrepressible joy, love, and faith touched all who knew her. She will be fondly remembered by her family, very special in-laws and her many dear Friends. She will also be sorely missed, but we rejoice that she has been freed to join her Creator. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 17th at 2 o'clock at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, 1585 Yonge Street, north of St. Clair Avenue. A reception will follow. Friends of the family are invited to attend. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to the Toronto Grace Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society, Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, St. Paul's Anglican Church, or the charity of your choice.

We appreciate each and every visit, your words of comfort and the hugs offered at the visitation and funeral. Thank you to the kind and compassionate staff at Kelso Pines and Doctor VEENSTRA for all the love and tender care you gave over the last 7 years. You were so kind to all of us and we will never forget. Our gratitude goes to Bill BROWN and the caring staff of Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home for their guidance and support. We express to Rev. Kristal McGEE of First United Church our heartfelt thanks for arranging a service to celebrate Marjorie's long life. At the age of 76 years, suddenly on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the Longworth Long Term Care Facility. Eileen was the daughter of the late John and Susannah FONES. Beloved sister of Audrey Raven and Evelyn Cogan, sister-in-law of Peggy FONES. Predeceased by her sister Eleanor, her brothers Tom (Betty), Harry (Marguerite), Fred (Jean) and Clarence, brothers-in-law Frank RAVEN and Alfred COGAN. Loved dearly by her niece Lynda and her husband Gordon LA ROSE. Eileen is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Dear friend of Marie VEENSTRA and Lorna ANTOINE.
