It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Stephanie Elizabeth KOMISCHKE on Saturday, February 25, 2006 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Stanley KOMISCHKE. Beloved mother of Janine Barbara (Leo) BELAIR, Diane ZANDRI, Lorraine (Guy) VEILLEUX, Marilyn (Rick) CLARKE. Loved grandma of Michelle, Nicole, Leo Jr., Todd, Jason, September, Lisette, John, Fraser, Mackenzie and her 14 great-grandchildren. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Justin's Church, 855 Jalna Blvd. on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock. Prayers Monday evening at 8 o'clock. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Peacefully, at University Hospital, on Sunday, December 3rd, 2006, Irene (MARTIN) BRISSETTE of London in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Louis BRISSETTE (2003.) Loving mother of Rene, Rita and her husband Gaetan EMERY, Claudette and her husband Jean Louis VEILLEUX, Micheline and her husband Lee CAMPBELL, Diane and her husband John PREE, Claire and her husband Larry BEADLE, Jean-Claude and his wife Angie, Linda and her husband Dave VALDRON. Dear grandmother of Jean Pierre and Michael EMERY, Dan and Steven FORGET, Michelle and Melissa BRISSETTE, Tracey and Andrew DOLPHIN, Barbara Ann and Chantal BEADLE, Jordan and Ryan VALDRON, Jonathan BRISSETTE and Jennifer DE SOUSA, and lovingly remembered by 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Francis MARTIN. VEILLEUX, Maurice
On May 13th, 2006, at home in Ste-Adèle, Québec, Maurice VEILLEUX died at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife Edith PROTEAU, his children Luce (Carlos), Alain (Lucie) and Daniel (Isabelle) his 5 grandchildren Marie-Claire, Jean-David, Caroline, Alexandra and Marie-Catherine; and a wealth of family and Friends. In accordance with his wishes, a private family service was held. The family wishes to offer its heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Community Health Centre of Ste-Adèle and the hemodialysis service of the Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu de St-Jérome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hôtel-Dieu de St-Jérome Foundation (190 de Montigny, St-Jérome, Quebec J7Z 5T3) or the charity of your choice.

Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Bluewater Health - C.E.E. Site, Petrolia, on Friday, September 15, 2006. Keith PEGG, 61 years, of Petrolia. Beloved husband of Lynn (née McHATTIE.) Loving father of Kelly and Bill VAN RUITENBURG and Sherry Alexander (Lee CHARLTON) all of Petrolia. Precious grandpa to Justin and Camy VAN RUITENBURG. Beloved son of Dorothy and the late Albert PEGG (1992) of Petrolia. Also survived by a beloved sister, Shirley JOHNSTON and Don WORKMAN of Petrolia, a sister-in-law, Gail VEINOT of Sarnia and several nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 1: 00 p.m. Reverend Doctor Robert M. At the age of 89 went to be with his Lord March 9, 2006 at Springdale Country Manor, Peterborough, Ontario. Born April 28, 1916 Centreville, Nova Scotia. Formerly of Nova Scotia and Hampton, Ontario he spent the last years of his life in Peterborough where he was a member of Elim Family Worship Centre. Served in the Canadian Army, World War 2, 1940-1946. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Lida at Springdale Country Manor; and his children Stanley (Edie), Airdrie Alberta; Carolyn STURMAN (Reginald), Lindsay, Ontario Randall (Leanne), Penticton, British Columbia; Wendell (Jane), Conestogo, Ontario; Walton (Lisbeth), Beeton, Ontario; Susan HAYES (Ronald,) Hampton, Ontario; also 13 grandchildren (one deceased) and 16 great-grandchildren (two deceased). Predeceased by a brother Wendell and 5 sisters Ida DAKIN, Helena BEST, Christina CANN, Florence VEINOT and Edith PRIME all of Nova Scotia, he is survived by 2 sisters Violet WHITE/WHYTE, Middleton, Nova Scotia and Anna DOUCETTE, New Edinburgh, Nova Scotia. Much loved by his family, he will be greatly missed. Memorial service at Elim Family Worship Centre, 414 Kellar Street, Peterborough, Ontario at 1: 30 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2006. Memorial service at Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby, Nova Scotia on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 2: 00, p.m., to be followed by interment at Rossway Baptist Cemetery, Rossway, Nova Scotia. ZEMDEGS, Aina
On April 4, 2006, following a brief but inexorable illness that ended a life rich in experiences and achievements. Born in Latvia on August 2, 1924, exiled to Sweden in 1944, then to Canada in 1950, where she fulfilled her goals to study music and literature at the same time remaining devoted to her immediate and extended family. Aina graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music as well as the University of Toronto, taught music in Toronto and Burlington and published many books of poetry and prose that were acclaimed in her native Latvia and abroad. She will be fondly remembered by her daughter Dace BEGGS and her husband Gail STARR of Vancouver, son Raidis ZEMDEGS and his wife Maria DEBARTOLO of Toronto, grand_sons Jonathan, Joseph and Aleksandrs, sisters Rita LIEPINS of Ottawa and Dzidra VEISBERGS of Richmond Hill, her husband Pavils VASARINSH and their families, as well as her colleagues -- music teachers in Burlington, and her readers and fellow writers in Latvia and other countries. The funeral service will be held at the Rosar Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto on April 8th at 10 a.m. Visitation on April 7th from 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the A.L.S. Society of Ontario, Hamilton Branch would be appreciated.

Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Parkwood Hospital on Thursday, February 2, 2006. "Cecil" Sietse A. DYKSTRA of Richmond in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Joan (HOWEY) DYKSTRA. Loving father of Frank DYKSTRA of Richmond, Catherine BRANDOW and husband Stephen of Orwell, Teresa VEITCH and husband Doug of R.R.#1, Eden, Marlene DYKSTRA and husband Stan CLARKE of R.R.#7, Aylmer and Barbara CARTER and husband Ed of R.R.#1, Aylmer. Dear brother of Bill DYKSTRA (Dickie,) Pat BUREN (Lawrence,) Shel DYKSTRA (Charmaine), Dorothy REYMER (Eef), Anne ROVERS, Marie WHITE/WHYTE (Walter), Tony DYKSTRA, Agnes LANSINK (Herman), Peter DYKSTRA (Elsie) and brother-in-law of Margaret DYKSTRA. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Durk DYKSTRA and a brother-in-law Bert ROVERS. Born in Witmarsum, The Netherlands on August 23, 1940 son of the late John and Catherine (ANEMA) DYKSTRA. He was a carpenter and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church. Cecil enjoyed fishing and hunting. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where parish prayers will be held on Monday at 8: 00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
