BERREVOETS, Doctor Tiina-Ann, D.D.S. (née VETKA)
Born in Tartu, Estonia. University of Toronto '61, Filiae Patriae Sorority. With her husband by her side, Tiina passed away peacefully on the morning of December 2, 2006 at North York General Hospital at the age of 68. Loved and missed greatly by her husband, John, her children and their families, Peter BERREVOETS (Lisa BOGART,) Paul and Eveline BERREVOETS, and Anne-Marie and Michael SLATER of White Salmon, Washington. Dear sister to Mall (John) CHANEY of Bradenton, Florida, and Anu (Bill) PATTERSON of Caledonia, Ontario. Recently predeceased by her mother Aino VETKA (August '06.) Loving Grandma to Max, Madeleine, Ben, and Emily BERREVOETS, Neil and Marie-Christine BERREVOETS, Audrey, Rosalyn and Shelly SLATER. Tiina was a loving mother and a successful professional. After graduation, 8 years of private practice, and 3 children, she joined the North York Health Unit, Dental Division, as a pediatric dentist. Following 34 years of dedicated service to children, she retired to the country in Norham, Ontario. After a courageous fight with cancer, her Lord and Saviour took her home to be with Him. The Lord is faithful, standing by us and strengthening us. Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street (just south of Steeles), Friday, December 8, 2006 from 2-4: 30 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 11 a.m., Willowdale Baptist Church, 15 Olive Avenue (1 block south of Finch, just east of Yonge). Local service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Monday, December 11, 2006 - 11 a.m. in Warkworth, Ontario, followed by interment. Donations to the North York General Hospital, Doctor Anne Tanenbaum Chemotherapy Centre, would be appreciated.

Age 63 of Dresden passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Tuesday September 12, 2006. She was born in Dresden daughter of the late Wayne and Ona ENOS) LAMBKIN. Surviving is her husband Jerry TRAVIS; two daughters: Sheila and Clinton HARRIS of Chatham, Sherry and Clarence TALBOT of Chatham; one son: Scott TRAVIS and fiancée Luanne of Chatham God daughter Kathy BISHOP of Ruscum; four grandchildren: Alicia HARRIS, Clinton HARRIS, Darnell TALBOT and Karly TRAVIS; four sisters: Peggy and Paul ROBINSON of Dresden, Dianne and Larry VETOR of Comber, Yvonne and Kelly CHAUVIN of Stoney Point, Mary LAMBKIN of Comber; two brothers: Albert and Brenda LAMBKIN and Mike and April LAMBKIN both of Dresden. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home, 620 Cross Street, Dresden on Thursday 5-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Friday September 15, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Albert LAMBKIN officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to Canadian Cancer Society and left at the funeral home. Peacefully at Kingsway Lodge, Saint Marys on Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Ola Frances (VETOR) TRIMBLE, formerly of Thamesford in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald TRIMBLE (2000) and dear mother of Gerry and Isabel of R.R.#4 Thamesford and Brian and Barb of Fort Francis. Dear grandmother of Becky and Dave MOUNSTEVEN of Port Perry, Tyler (deceased 1999,) Denny and Sharon and Darien and Barb all of Fort Francis, Chip and Kate of Saint Thomas and Ben and Colleen of London. Also loved by seven great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ellen HOLMAN of Essex. Predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Harland B. On Monday, February 6, 2006 after a lengthy and valiant struggle, with his beloved and devoted wife Michelina by his side. For 55 years they shared a true love story. Cherished father of Flora (Giovanni DI VETTA,) Alba (Al DI PLACIDO,) Greg (Kim,) and John (Cathy). Proud grandfather of Derrick (Voula), Michelle (Marco), Jason (Priscila), Andrea (Joe), Laura, Melanie, Anthony and Jeffrey. Great-grandfather - 'Biso' to his angel Julia. "Grazie dal cuore" to devoted sister-in-law Ersilia SESSA for her special care. Tony also so loved all his family and his countless Friends with whom his journey of life was enriched. Sincere thanks to his extensive care team - Dr. KIRSHEN and palliative care workers, Barbara and Melina. Particular appreciation to Jo THOMAS for his care, love and hard work. Antonio (Tony), was born in Cassino, Italy - 'Le Vaglie' where he so loved to return amongst the grape vineyards, olive groves and fig trees. His Italian heritage and traditions were fiercely protected. A private affection for India where he spent time during the 2nd World War (a strong Indian…born in Italy!). Truly Canadian in his love of his adoped country where he raised his family, ran a small construction company, and enjoyed the natural beauty of Canada. Passed away at Parkwood Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, March 17, 2006. Lisa Anita FETTIG of Caressant Care Retirement Home of Woodstock, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Willi FETTIG for over 52 years. Proud and loving mother of Eileen FETTIG of London. Also survived by her sisters from overseas; Luitgard SEEGER, Ingeborg (Karl) BOLLWEBER, Ulrike (Gunter) WEBER and Irene (Didier) MOUTON. Predeceased by her daughter Nancy FETTIG (2001) and by her parents Helmut and Emma VETTER (née LORENZ.) Lisa was a member of the C.A.W. Local 636 Retirees Club. Friends may call at the R.D. Passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2006, with the love, laughter and support of his family. Predeceased in December 2003 by Mary M. (VARIE) BOYD, his sweetheart of 55 years. Steele was the extraordinary father of Diane VETTER and Lorna E. BOYD. Awesome and brilliant grandfather of Kyle Boyd VETTER and Anna Margaret Jean VETTER, James Evan Steele BOYCE and Fiona Emmie Elizabeth BOYCE. Great friend of his sons-in-law Keith VETTER and Mark BOYCE, with whom he shared a love for golf. Steele will always be in our hearts, our humour and our thoughts. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many Friends.
