In loving memory of Lorma Violet Middaugh, April 14, 1923 - January 24,
2006. Lorma Middaugh, a resident of Evansville, died at Sudbury Regional
Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2006. She was born in Carnarvon Twp.,
daughter of the late James and Grace (Griffin) Galbraith. Lorma and Bill had
owned and operated the Evansville Store for a number of years. She had a
variety of interests which included sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking,
flower gardening, quilting, lapidary work and her photo albums. She also was
an avid bell collector. Lorma was a kind and generous lady, who enjoyed
people and she enjoyed having people in her home for dinners. She will be
greatly missed by her family and her community. Lorma was predeceased by her
beloved husband William (Bill) Middaugh in August of 2002. Loving and loved
mother of Garry and his wife Judy, Marilyn and her husband Glen Wright all
of Evansville and Steven and his wife Barbara of Gore Bay. Proud grandmother
of Tara and Jeff Bailey, Becky and Tim Gilmore, Aaron Wright, Richard and
Kelly Middaugh, and Lori Middaugh. Great Grandmother of Derek and Mallory
Bailey, Trent and Tanner Wright and Zachary Gilmore. Dear sister of Evelyn
Pattison, (husbands Warren Legge and James Pattison predeceased) Mildred
McCormick (husband Bill predeceased), Leona Sloss, husband Chester and
Ransford, wife Lavina Galbraith. Also survived by several nieces and
nephews. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home on Thursday, from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service was held at the Burpee Mills Complex on
Friday, January 27, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Erwin Thompson
officiating. Spring interment in Burpee Mills Cemetery. If so desired,
donations may be made to the Elizabeth Bay United Church. Culgin Funeral
