Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Mount
Sinai Hospital in his 84th year. Loving husband of the late Kathryn
(née HEENAN.) Dear father of Michael (Sandi) and Kathy (Jess.)
Adoring grandfather of David, Kathryn, Meghan and Griffin. Fondly

Jean HILL. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews
and by his Friends at the York Downs Golf Club and the Atlantis
Golf and Country Club. The family will receive Friends at the
Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue
(south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on
Friday, October 13th. The funeral service will be held in the
chapel on Saturday, October 14th at 1 o'clock. Private family
interment. If desired, donations to the Parkinson Society of
Canada, 4211 Yonge Street, Suite #316, Toronto M2P 2A9, would
be appreciated.

Artillery, member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 13.
Suddenly on Friday, March 17, 2006 in his 86th year. Beloved
husband of Jean for 59 years. Loving father of Ronald (Carol),
Paul (Denise), and Shawn (Cathy). Devoted grandpa of Bryan, Lesley,
Jonathan, Bradley, Colin, and Daniel. Brother of Bill, and Ethel
VOKE. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the "Scarborough Chapel" of McDougall and
Brown, 2900 Kingston Road (east of St. Clair Ave. E.) on Monday,
March 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel
on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers,
donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Lovingly remembered

Predeceased by his parents Ernest and
Della VOKES, by two brothers Orville and Kenneth. Thomas was
a life long resident of Derby Township. Friends may call at the
Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m.
and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral
home on Tuesday afternoon at 1: 30 p.m. Leslie

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy,
memorial donations to either the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre
Coronary Care Unit or to Kilsyth United Church would be appreciated

VOKES express sincere thanks to
Friends, relatives and family co-workers who have shown love,
kindness and support during the illness and passing of a loving
husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Our deepest
gratitude to Dr.
KUMAR and the wonderful nurses in the Critical
Care Unit and step down and to nurse Shelley on 4th floor of
G.B.H.S. for the love and care given to Tom. Heartfelt thanks
to all who sent food to our homes, inquiries by phone, sent beautiful
flowers, sympathy cards and for donations to Church, hospital
and other charities in memory of Tom. Special thanks to Pastor
Leslie SEARLES for many visits and prayers and for the kind and
comforting words in the funeral service. Thanks to Larry and
Robert who read eulogies of Grandpa's life, Lisa for her reading
of the 23rd Psalm, Ashley who prepared the special music and
to our ten grand_sons who acted as Pallbearers. We appreciate
all who came from near and far to visit or attend the funeral
which showed us the place Tom held in the hearts of the people
who knew him. Our special thanks to Bill
BROWN and staff of the
Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home for their compassion and guidance
to every detail making the loss easier for us to bear. Grateful
thanks to the ladies of Kilsyth United Church women who served
