Our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died
in her sleep June 15, 2006 in Brampton, Ontario, after a long,
slow and painful descent into very old age. Born in Hoogeveen,
the Netherlands, February 19, 1915, she emigrated to Canada in
1954 with her husband and children. We will always remember her
strong will, determination and uncompromising standards. She
faced many hardships and dealt with them to the very best of

Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 7th, 2006,
with his loving and devoted wife by his side. He was a gentle
man and a gentleman who always found joy in all aspects of his
life. Ignas received his Chemical Engineering degree from the
University of Toronto and his M.B.A. from York. He was always
spiritually motivated by the works of Deepak Chopra and
Og Mandino.
An avid tennis player with a keen sense of fun and competition,
Ignas was the cherished husband and best friend of Barbara
VOSBOURGH.
Predeceased by his beloved parents, Ignas and Bonaventura
ALKSNYS.
