MORRISON, William James
Peacefully at his home, for the last 28 years; New Care Health Services of R.R.#5 Strathroy, on Monday, April 17, 2006, William James MORRISON in his 76th year. son of the late Russel (1995) and Anne (( BEATTIE1961)) of Wardsville. Uncle Bill was raised in Wardsville where he played Rural Hockey and then went on to play with the Chatham Gold's Jr. league and then London Senior A league. He enjoyed boxing and won many awards in his younger years. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1954 and after that he worked for his father's construction company, Morrison Movers, a building moving company. He is predeceased by his brother, Robert J. MORRISON (2004) and sister-in-law Viola (1999.) Survived by his step-brother, Russel PATON of Wardsville and step-sister, Bonnie VOWEL of Dutton, niece, Marlene GOOS and family of West Lorne and nephew Jack MORRISON and family of Wardsville. A private family service will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Thursday at 11 a.m. and interment with his family at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to New Care Health Services (memorial tree garden) or Beattie Haven Retirement Community. A memorial tree will be planted in the New Care forest by his many Friends and staff there at a later date.

VOWELS, Ronald Clarence
On Wednesday September 13, 2006 at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in his 62nd year. Dearly loved brother of Coral FUCHS and Ruth and her husband Henry GROVES all of Saint Thomas and the late infant sister Suzanne. Dear aunt of Julie and her husband Mike HARDMAN and their children Justine, Michaela of Saint Thomas, Corinna and her husband Rudy HEAN of Saint Thomas, Susanne and her husband Jamie PROULX and their children Chelsea and Megan of Windsor, Tina and her husband Ed NAUJOKAITES and their children Daniel, Alishia and Nicholas of Saint Thomas, Kevin and his wife Denise GROVES of Muirkirk. Sadly missed by a number of cousins. Ronald was born September 24, 1944 in Saint Thomas the son of the late Clarence and Evelyn (DAVIES) VOWELS and had worked for Therm-O-Disc. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Ronald's life will be held at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, Sunset Road, Saint Thomas, Saint Thomas on Saturday, September 23rd at 2: 00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas in charge of arrangements.

A resident of Port Glasgow, Helen Mary ANDERSON passed away at the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the age of 92. Daughter of the late John and Minnie INGRAM. Beloved wife of the late William ANDERSON (1988.) Loving mother of Ruth BOOS of Port Glasgow, Carson and Glenny ANDERSON of R.R.#1 Muirkirk and Allan and Barbara ANDERSON of R.R.#2 Muirkirk. Grandmother of Doctor William and Patricia ANDERSON, John ANDERSON and friend Urs, Jamie and Denise ANDERSON, Lynda and Craig PANDUR, Beverley ANDERSON and friend Bernie and Donna and Jack McLAREN. Survived by several great-grandchildren. Dear aunt of John and Eva INGRAM, Dick and Ann INGRAM, Bob and Janice INGRAM, Ruth Ann and Bill KEENAN and Janice and Brian VOWELS. Survived by several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son William ANDERSON (1993) and her brother John (Jack) INGRAM (1988.) Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital, on Friday, July 14th, 2006, Mrs. Judy LAVOIE of London in her 57th year. Beloved wife of Steven ARRAND. Loving mother of Vicki McCAW and her husband Steve of Lobo, Richard LAVOIE and his wife Jane of London, and Michelle LAVOIE, also of London. Cherished grandmother of Paige and Nicholas LAVOIE. Loving daughter of the late Herman and Yvonne SCHRANS, and daughter-in-law of Jim and Diane ARRAND. Dear sister of Bill SCHRANS (Sandra,) Gerry SCHRANS, Nancy FOURNIE (Joe), Susan MARSH (Glenn), Diane OUELLETTE (Gerry,) Terri VOWLES (Bill,) and Steve SCHRANS (Heather.) Judy was a longtime dedicated employee of the London Health Sciences Centre. CASWELL, Doreen June (née VOWLES)
Doreen passed away on December 23, 2005, after a long illness. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Joyce BARTECK and Gloria BRADEY (Wayne,) her nephew David (Donna,) and her niece Sandra. She was the dear "Aunt Do" of great-nephew Benjamin and great-nieces Madeline, Olivia, and Renée. As Doreen wished, no funeral service was held. Cremation has taken place.
